The independant newspaper printed an article with sheer lies!! Not random people journalists. The problem is it's so quiet and everyone in Dundee is on edge and tender hooks with all the rumours. I know from my own point of view I havnt slept a wink and sat in work on my phone for the whole time and trying to get updates. I hope boxing gets right behind him

It was the 1ndependent, a spoof satirical site that lures people into thinking it's The Independent because of the similar name. Buncey does a lot of writing for The Independent, no chance that he would publish something like that without being 100% sure it was accurate.

A ok mate I wasn't sure of that spoof page or that, some sick people out there!!!

I'm afraid it's official Mike has passed away. Some amazing words from his girlfriend on Facebook.. Let's all get behind the family and support them in any way we can.. #PrideOfDundee #IronMikeTowell
