Exactly. The fact there was no proper contract speaks volumes, why wasn't one drawn up? The devil is in the details too, did he "fight for free" but got paid an "appearance fee" instead? One thing for certain is Haye isn't sacred of Briggs, its more likely how Haye as explained, no PPV option and Briggs wouldn't accept what he was offered as it was on 'Dave' so not big bucks.

I hear....... The BoxN4tion deal is still on the table. The Bellew deal is going to be disccussed next week. Can't see him fighting on Dec 10th unless it's abroad. Ustinov or Wallich on Boxn4tion or Bellew on Sky Box Office. No brainer for me. Bellew in feb and then a suummer showdown with Joshua/Klitschko or Parker/Ruiz.

Pretty much. Briggs is either a complete idiot for agreeing to fight for sod all other than a vague promise with no written contract or he's telling porkies. Either way he's irrelevant - as his performances in the ring for the last decade aptly demonstrate

This sems likely. Now that the wbo has guaranteed haye a title shot for ko'ing 2 nobodies, there's no incentive to fight a ranked contender. Bellew would be easy money for haye, but then parker could be a big challenge.

I can't believe genuine boxing fans would honestly believe a two time heavyweight champion of the world would fight for free. or that his team would let him just ridiculous. As is thinking he got six figures to fight a no mark on someone's undercard
