Who next?
I agree, but I doubt anybody there can even come close. I think that he should go to 135 for Barthelemy, Flanagan or maybe Mikey.tigermoth87 wrote:Lomachenko is fantastic. Can't see anyone in that division beating him. Saying that, I don't want him to move up yet. There's some good fights to be made against Sosa, Pedrassa etc.
Current Ward is at least a level below Lomachenko. Loma compensates a relative lack of power with speed, movement, volume, outstanding footwork, angles.Ian1973 wrote:Lomachenko is right up there with GGG, Gonzalez, Kovalev, Ward, Crawford, Pacquiao.
They are the top six active fighters IMO.
You can squabble about what order they're in.

Ward's main tool is lowering opponent's output by clinching and running. Kovalev is also not on the same level with Loma.
Who have GGG, Crawford, and Roman fought at a P4P level? Not that I rank Loma above all them....Tanzio wrote:boxing_rocks wrote:Current Ward is at least a level below Lomachenko. I would put him top 10 though and rising. He has faced nobody near the level of Ward, Kovalev, Crawford, 3G, Chocolatito, Pac or Canelo. If he could be rated above any of those at the moment they would be Chocolatito and 3G. A year from now I could see him in the top four or higher.
Crawford has defeated better comp but not much. I rate Chocolatito and 3G over him because of their body of work but I could understand why some would put Loma above Roman and 3G.crusader wrote:Who have GGG, Crawford, and Roman fought at a P4P level? I agree. Loma literally toyed with Walters tonight. A bit disappointing but a pleasure watching such a wonderful talent operate.diddy wrote:Lomo needs to go to 140 to find a real fight. Which is Crawford. The only reasonable opponents for him at 135 would be Mikey Garcia and maybe Rances Barthelemy. That's about it. The dudes at 130 have no shot.
