I see your point fightfan but my point is we shouldnt have to pay for it if we subscribe to the sports channel,you dont see the footy,super league,F1,cricket or tennis having to pay extra and F1 and football cost a hell of a lot more than boxing does. Sky and matchroom are cheeky b*stards tbh they get the money from us the money from subscribers and money from william hill,surely the boxers wages,ring,judges,ref and the endless matchroom bum boy commentators dont cost that much the judges are 2nd rate and the commentators are too,all for the matchrrom stable.

Exactly. It's not just £17 is it - it's £17 on top of anything else you already pay for (Sky/Sky Sports/BT Sports/B0xnati0n). No other sport has to put up with it. Sorry, but mugs is the right word in this instance.

The british public are gullible as the casual fan probably didnt watch kovalev vs ward FOR FREE cause they havent got a clue who they are but because AJ is british the casual fan just keep putting their hand in their pocket,ward vs kov was free and it was a p4p fight for the no1 light-heavyweight boxer

Supply and demand my friend, of course Kovalev vs Ward wouldn't be PPV in the UK as only 1% of the population would of heard of either fighter. Matchroom have tapped into the casual market and taken advantage for sure, but any savvy promoter would do the same. Plus, £16.95 really is cheap for PPV compared to what the Americans have to pay. Normally AJ cards are stacked with good fights from top to bottom so in reality £16.95 may twice or 3 times a year is a small price to pay. Almost every big UFC and Boxing card in the US is PPV and they pay up to $50 per card. Also, if you are really tight for money and genuinely cannot afford the extra few quid then there are plenty of excellent streaming sites available, people just love to moan.

I watched it on my dodgy box but i wouldn't have been disappointed if i had paid for it.

Thought it was good value. 2 contenders for fight of the year and a few great KO's.

I think you'll be surprised if you look into how much their cable packages are in the US! Oh of course I know this is a place to vent, but when you here the same people over and over again just moaning after one of the best cards of the year, it makes me think that some people will just never be satisfied. Some huge fights to be made in 2017 though so expect to for out for about 3 or 4 PPV's!

I didnt pay for it. For the first time watched it via stream (multiple ones). If I ever intend to watch again I will Pay no doubt.

I didnt mind testing out the waters on my box that Ive had for ages (never tried it before). I couldnt watch the tv as mrs and kids had x factor final on all night.

I dont care what anyone says, you cannot find a perfect stream. It stops or buffers, or the picture isnt good, or sound problwms etc etc. Android boxes are great for movies and tv series but not for live sport imo.

I know people claim that they have perfect picture etc but fact is Ive never seen it. Not at home, not at any mates house. These mates who say cancel everything and just use your box. Ive been roubnd and said stick the footie on. By the time they have found a stream that works 10 mins have gone and your playing spot the ball.

My pockets are sewn at the top when it comes to ppv,when my contract runs out in feb sky can suck a d1ck cause its not worth paying for,boxing is my main sport but i do like football too thats why i have the sports channels. Your right we all do have a choice to pay or not to pay and i chose not to pay but i come on this forum and vent my dissapointment in the amount of ppv's are happening with boxing on sky,especially wen sky is so expensive anyway

Paid the cash and would pay cash every week for a card and fights like that...I'm not stuck for cash so I'll happily pay for good fight nights

I watched all those fights as well. But I'd don't pay 16.95 + a 12 month Sky contract for it.
And I won't be paying £24.95 for Klit either

was supposed to be at a 30th birthday but couldn't get a baby sitter so saved money. if chisora v whyte wasn't on the card not sure I would have paid aj is not ppv value having said that if you can rematch the two great fights on the Wembley bill with aj v klitschko youve got a bargain.

Or maybe you're just a cheap skate... I like to watch my boxing in full HD quality and be able to rewind/re-watch it whenever I want. Not watch it on a moody stream or a kodi box. Who's the mug really...
