The reason Angelo Hyder won't be in the ring on Friday night is he was nearly killed by a falling tree and is still on crutches and with seven plates in his head.

“Doctors told me I was three millimetres from death and two millimetres from being left blind by the accident,” Hyder said.

“I spent three weeks in hospital after developing a lung infection and a blood clot but the doctors were amazed at my recovery. I told them I was determined to see Danny beat Anthony Mundine and be part of the victory and I’m sure that’s what made me well again.

Hyder will call the shots in Green's corner. But as he is still unable to climb into the ring, he will do it from the floor.

Didn't see the fight but even Paul Kent said Mundine was robbed. No need for crayons Green had every advantage was the heavy favourite. You were just saying the above to make this farcical fight seem ''fair''.
