Yarde had a bit of a problem with the scales as well. Had to disrobe. Even said, he's got 3 sets and he was bang on the weight.

You are right about giving him credit for travelling here defending though especially as a young fighter. I should be giving him more credit for that actually. The way judges have been towards international fighters really Floyd could have easily torn into boxing over here and it would have been justified.

Are the really people thinking Davis will walk over him. I'm not sure that's the consensus but a Davis win is. Walsh will have his moments might even get a few votes that he might have won the fightI actually don't see anyway Walsh wins. I think a close decision will go to Davis or a Draw.

Goes both ways as far as judges go.

I don't know enough about either fighter to predict the outcome. I just think that it is great that a fight like this is happening. It cannot do anything but positive things for boxing, no matter who prevails.

To me, Davis seems like a smaller version of Felix Diaz with much greater pop. Defense does not seem to be a large priority for him.

No one in America has heard of Walsh. Davis will be in no better position in U.S. boxing after this fight than before (if he wins).

If Davis beats a known top 130 fighter he could become a significant player but this fight won't put him there.

However, after tonight, GTank will be quite well known in the UK if he puts on a good show. That is the strategy. Plus, plenty of Americans will be watching him take on an undefeated fighter in the UK.

GTank becomes a significant player in less than 24 hours if he wins. After that the options are many from feathers moving up to consolidating SFeather to moving up after Linares and more.
