The thing is Wlad doesn't usually resort to jabbing and grabbing a similar size opponent as he usually has the athletic advantage. The last two were Wach and Pulev.

I tend to think he was freaked out by Fury's height long arms and constant movement and his inability to establish a jab made for such pathetic punch output. But maybe he's just shot. There's the intrigue.

He should still have quicker feet and definitely has better footwork so lulling AJ to sleep with movement and jabs before a sudden straight right could be a winning strategy.
I can't imagine him coming out like he did against Pulev but you never know, that was the Steward way against big opponents - see Lewis v Golota and Grant too.

It was Pulev who made it a punch up, Klit responded rather than initiated. He always goes to claim centre ring and paw the left, threaten the right, but holds more than anything.
