Shame it's propping up a PPV instead of being on normal sky.

Andrew Selby has got a fight on the 7th October an eliminator for the WBC world titlejameswilson wrote:Lenroy Thomas v Dave Allen added too.
I suppose in an ideal World the best we can hope for going forward is Chisora v Whyte and the Selby brothers. I know neither are signed to Hearn but surely if you are Cyclone you aren't gonna complain at Andrew Selby getting a fight at the Millenium Stadium and likewise Lee surely wouldn't turn a voluntary down to keep ticking over. His big problem is inactivity. Possibly Scott Quigg on there too and I'v mentioned Katie Taylor. I can't see there being much more to add.
Whyte thinks the Chisora rematch is a PPV headliner and only wants it for £1million apparently.jameswilson wrote:Lenroy Thomas v Dave Allen added too.

It can headline but not a PPV imo.Naandrew wrote:Whyte thinks the Chisora rematch is a PPV headliner and only wants it for £1million apparently.jameswilson wrote:Lenroy Thomas v Dave Allen added too.

He said he's still to announce two more fights as well the chief support and one other didn't rule out both being world title fightsKiwiRider wrote:With the undercard now released, this is a very decent fight night. Props to Eddie. Hard to top the Wlad fight with Pulev, but the undercard on this one is sweet![]()
PPV approved by management
Joshua is the best thing to happen to boxing in this country for years. Fights regularly, attracts fans, gets involved in exciting fights. Unless you were Bulgarian I'm not sure why you'd love him to lose to be fair.Oiky wrote:Pulev will do well for a time then get KOd
Would love him to get the upset though..
His worst PPV was the Cleverly Bellew rematch. A lot of names, but no really good fights. Brook Gavin may have been the worst main event but the undercard (world title fights for Selby and Mitchell in well matched contests and Joshua's first step beyond domestic class) was spot on.stujones wrote:In response to Eddie Hearn's comments "when is the last time I've short changed the PPV fan" - ummm.... I wasn't a fan of the Joshua vs Breazele PPV. Whyte vs Joshua was exceedingly dissapointing to be a main event of a PPV also.
Not the same card.stujones wrote:
I would have mentioned Bellew vs Haye - but Chisora vs Whyte saved it.
Oh shit no it wasn't - okay... Bellew vs Haye also. Pretty awful lets be honest on paper the main event was a bit of a mismatch and the undercard wasn't that great.... but yeah the main event did surprise, but also Haye was crocked.Ruthless-RKO wrote:Not the same card.stujones wrote:

I generally love huge upsets....they can be extremely exciting and keep things fresh, reminding us of the uncertainty in boxing. A Pulev win would be a more notable event to me than an expected AJ beatdown win, and it would be a shock that comes on a massive stage.dirk2686 wrote:Joshua is the best thing to happen to boxing in this country for years. So, I can see how someone would love the upset, without it being a case of ‘we hate him and want him to lose because he gets hyped, people rate him, and his promoter's a cock!’. Granted, I'm not British, but I don't think British boxing fans have any obligation to support Joshua.
