If he does win it won't be comfortably. I'd take Crawford over Spence right now.gilgamesh wrote:It might be as good as this one, but I'd favor Spence to win pretty comfortably in that one as well. It'll probably have to wait a while though as I'm sure Thurman will be trying hard to get Pacquiao or somebody like that first if he can.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:I don't think it would be as good as this one, Thurman will be on his bike all night.MachoTime wrote:Spence vs. Thurman would be a great fight.
I wouldn't rank him in the Top 10 on a P4P list just yet. I have him #2 at Welterweight behind Keith Thurman still who also isn't on my P4P list. Both are right on the verge of P4P consideration though and I think Spence has more talent and will go further.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Man down! Two great fighters. Spence is #2 p4p for me.
These guys are simply being honest and stating their opinion.BAD INTENTIONS wrote:Other way around, there'd me more joyEnlightened-One wrote:Tony Bellew, Amir Khan and Johnny Nelson all criticised Kell Brook for not fighting on and for failing to go out on his shield.
Every single one of them believes that Brook will regret his actions.
and criticism of Errol as a coward or something.
But Khan shouldn't be talking because he's running from Brook.
I'd take Crawford over Spence as well, but I'd take Crawford to beat Thurman pretty clear also. I think Crawford and Spence are more elite operators than Thurman.Baby Face Finster wrote:If he does win it won't be comfortably. I think Thurman edges Spence in the footwork department. Spence would have to catch Thurman and slow him down. I do agree Thurman will be on the bicycle trying to outbox Spence. Don't think Thurman can out fight Spence.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:I don't think it would be as good as this one, Thurman will be on his bike all night.MachoTime wrote:Spence vs. Thurman would be a great fight.

I'm sure he will. Both laughing at your prior posts about how worthless P4P is, but that doesn't stop you from using it and skillwise, he isn't anywhere close to the Lomas/Crawfords, even GGGs of the world.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Keep laughing, he'll keep kicking ass.Blodhemn wrote:Lol..SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Man down! I never said I didn't have a p4p list. It's pointless for people to take it so seriously. This is a perfect example. I thought Spence was the second best fighter in the world last week, but "he hasn't fought anybody". That's all I mean, watch the fights, rate them how you see them. None of it matters.Blodhemn wrote:I'm sure he will. Yeah, I don't see Spence coming close to those guys. Good fighter slanted more towards will than skill.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:I never said I didn't have a p4p list. Spence actually lost several rounds and was down going into the 8th...I thought that was about right.Evander wrote:Spence won almost every round of the fight.
Brook got the 7th that was it.
Very entertaining and interesting fight.
Spence's jab and bodywork were the business.
Brook took a body shot in the 5th that popped and in the very next round he took some serious incoming downstairs that really swung the fight.
Spence kept it together and looked very comfortable in there, Brook showed signs of wear and tear he should take a long rest.
Overall it was a good fight.

Brook started strong, but Spence broke him down

Your card seems pretty bad to me
I guess quite a few of us underestimated Spence. He was strong and able to recover quickly. For a while Brook had the edge in hand speed and accuracy. But then his work rate dropped dramatically.BAD INTENTIONS wrote:Good fight.
Spence is very very very strong.
Each to their own, but you are some way off an even respectable scoreEvander wrote:Spence won almost every round of the fight.
