I expect Derric Rossy to get KOed within 1 round against Briggs, even today.
And I also think Jun Long Zhang is good enough to win against Deontay Wilder.

BRIGGS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Some of you guys and your support of Briggs is absolutely baffling. He's done literally NOTHING of relevance in this sport for almost 10 years. Beating Liakhovich in a sloppy, boring ass fight is the last noteworthy victory he's ever had...and look at the career Liakhovich had after that...what a talent he was!
If no talking body, like Daffy Duck, or Deontay Wilder, dares to fight him, then what can he do about it? You can't blame Briggs for that.

He's active and has beaten relatively good opposition, so I think he should be ranked based on that rather than an assumption that he won't be landing meaningful bouts in the future.
You think Joshua or Wilder are gonna waste their time with him again?
Maybe he wrangles himself a shot at the vacant WBA title or something (I'm sure they'll declare it vacant if they get offered enough money), but I doubt anybody else wastes their time with him. You can't even be sure a fight is going to take place.
So according to you we can hear a lot of "I wanna unify" chat, without anyone actually fighting another guy with a belt?

They may not, but why should that preclude him from a ranking? They haven't fought guys like Ortiz (also a positive tester), Parker, or each other...those fights are merely ideas at this point.

Joshua vs Wilder or Joshua vs Parker are very real possibilities in the near future. Those are unification fights.

And what about the other belts? And the mandatories?

What about 'em? The WBA Heavyweight title is a disgrace.

Well, sorry but Povetkin was claimed to be positive twice and both times it turned out to be wrong and meanwhile Stiverne hasn't been tested positive as far as I know, just busted live in the act drinking all kind of illegal substances. So remarkeble, of all the moments exactly when he get's tested the guy sees him drinking illegal stuff. And Wilder has never been tested positive either, somehow his car is full of drugs. On top of all that, the lab who "tested" Povetkin is currently suspended, very very remarkeble...
There's so much evidence that suggests Povetkin is innocent and there's so much evidence that suggests Wilder is taking all the drugs he wants.
To me it seems like a big show that doesn't make any sense. Whoever fits in the perfect story doesn't get busted, whoever doesn't fit in the perfect story get's busted. It reminds me about Lance Armstrong and all the stories around him.

Actually neither time it turned out to be wrong. You keep claiming that WADA or WBC cleared him of his failed tests, and that's a lie.

I used to be Povetkin's "hater", but now I respect him as a fighter and even actually root for him. He is very good boxer. Look, he couldn' stop Rudenko, but he dominated him from pillar to post. David Tua at the same age was beaten by totally shot Monty Barrett and even prime Tua, when he wasn't knocking his opponents out, he was winning the fights by the very close margin (and don't tell me that Jeff Wooden was better than Andriy Rudenko).
Also, Povetkin is ranked among top-5 heavyweights in the world for 10 streight years. It's very good longevity. Is he on the same level as Wladimir Klitschko? No, he certainly isn't. Is he a very good fighter? Most definitely he is.

If they changed their policy since he failed the test that still doesn't mean he didn't fail the test under the policy they had at THAT time.

They don't fight him because he's not worth their time. He's not ranked. He's not popular. He's not anything. Nothing qualifies him for a shot at any of those guys.
Shannon Briggs is like Heavyweight Boxing's running joke at this point, you're apparently not in on it because you actually take it serious. He quit being anything serious at Heavyweight a long time ago.
To put it into perspective...Jameel McCline...you remember him? Kinda decent Heavyweight, nothing special really, but he was alright. Fought for the title a few times, never won it.
Well he was using Shannon Briggs as a stepping stone to bigger things...15 YEARS AGO!

Povetkin is the victim of a corrupt sport, a corrupt VADA and a corrupt WBC -- which have repeatedly lied and played favorites..
We'll all find out in the next life that Povetkin never took any PEDs -- and in the arch of Eternity the human lifespan is like a grain of sand in a desert.

I think if there's an afterlife there'll be more important things to discover than whether or not Povetkin took any PEDs
Then again...you know that book "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" where the answer to Life is "42"..maybe that's the amount of different PEDs Povetkin took? By God we've solved the mystery!

There may be many more important things to discover when we get to the next life...
Such as who was behind the assassination of JFK ... and the debunking of lowbrow beliefs such as the belief that The moon landings were all faked... or that extra terrestrials ever visited us... or that Big Foot ever existed... and of course everyone wants to know whose religion was the correct one... and there have been many murders that have never been solved... and many people who were convicted of capital crimes were later found to be innocent -- but that must be the tip of the iceberg and there must be 1000's of other innocents throughout history and they all need to be exonerated... and so do people like Povetkin.

No, Marc Dummery and the wurm where absolutely the fights everybody was waiting for and Briggs, who was ranked a lot higher wasn't? Briggs proved in the ring that he was a good boxer, the whole world knows that Daffy Duck promised him a fight, but chickened out and fought a bum anyway and still lost!
