I'm openly no particular fan of our travelling cousins however despite all the seat stealing at the infamous Fury-Chisora rematch I don't recall any actual fighting as such (the other main problem amongst the general air of chaos was not letting beer into the arena and the only toilets being about a mile away from anything, so everybody was tanked and just pissing everywhere, as well as openly snorting coke, like both were a sport, and I don't think that was exclusively a traveller issue at all). I always got the impression as well that it was the Saunders fan base that came and nicked the expensive seats, although I don't know why I think that now. That was certainly the travellers though, who put the shits up the pathetic security who weren't "real" security, just muppets in yellow tops. They could do security at a festival or something, but not at a boxing match.

I also fondly remember a long conversation we had with some little Irish traveller kids at Froch Kessler 2 who really knew their boxing and were pro Kessler.

I recall Micky1975 saying that there are not trouble at Fury shows. I'm sure he's been to a few so I'll take his word for it.

I wouldn't bother though because it'll be shit, I'm not a big fan of Manchester and the place will be half full anyway.

Well put in a situation you pay a lot for a seat and then have to decide wether to take on a bunch of fella's and fight for it , or walk away , I think it would be fair to say, that you would only do one or the other once , after which its simple, shout loud and long to the promoter you will not be going to any show with that fan base there ever again .

Tyson hasn't got a ground breaking performance in him and never has had.

Bigjack, fair play should be shown to Tyson. What he did against Klit was a top effort. He intimidated him before he got in the ring, then controlled the fight and won at a canter.

He's the best man of his breed and just cos he is a man born from his mother and ain't no "juice head torkey" is not reason enough for hating on him in a racialistic manner

From a purely boxing perspective, his performance against Wlad can be put down to nothing more than an anomaly. I would be much more inclined to laud his boxing skills and ability, if he was able to replicate this performance on a regular basis (or at all).

I personally am pretty neutral about Tyson. His achievement against Wlad earned him the due mantle of undisputed world champion. He was also duly stripped of that title when he failed to satisfy the minimum criteria for that role. Right now, he's irrelevant, as he should be. Bottom of the pile, and once he earned his dues again, he will then become relevant.

Neither are great to watch but it's an intruiging fight to be fair.

To be honest for me its just a night out with few drinks. I love live fights but got to be interested in the boxers i watch. Ive never been a Fury fan and dont know who else will be on the bill yet. I was hoping Tyson would be fighting in all honesty but i knew he wouldnt be so it was a risk buying them.

Also for me its a ball ache travelling to Manchester and back as im not booking no hotel, no way. So im going to drive to Leeds pick up my son, who loves going to live fights and watching anyone. Im sure we will be going to Manc on tbe train as my lad loves a few beers so he wont be wanting to drive. Hopefully get the 12-30am train back to Leeds.

I havent got any interest in the fight at all really which is sad because im a boxing fan. So if the fight gets pulled and refunds are given i would be genuinely more happy with that.

If the fight goes ahead im sure we will go, but there could well be a chance i end up giving my seat to his mrs instead. We will see.

OK I'm exaggerating but gypsies seemingly have a much greater proclivity to fight than normal people. They're encouraged to fight as children so it's hardly surprising that as adults many of them are only too happy to spend drunken evenings throwing lumbering widearm punches at anyone in their vicinity.

As for giving up the seat it depends entirely on the situation. A couple of chaps sat together who can look after themselves may well decide to take on a group of drunken, scruffy, overweight, posturing yobs. The same bloke sat there with his wife or teenage son may decide that discretion is the better part of valour and hope that the stewards can eventually restore order.
