ESPN just set a new standard for sucking a fighter off. I'm sorry, I was bored as hell. Not his fault, but that match up was ass. One good thing that came from it is we know ESPN is all in with these fights. Atlas was in full shill mode, always makes me laugh when fans talk about that clown like he's a rebel against the system.

Glad I watched with the sound down.
As I said earlier, I'd rather see him get guys out there quick than clowning people, it's needlessly disrespectful in a fight with no needle.

It was brutal, Atlas alternated between calling him The Matrix, David Copperfield and Frank Sinatra. Tessatore was talking about Floyd being strictly a defensive fighter. Granted, he never had a title fight against opposition this weak at 130, but he certainly would have ended that fight sooner if he did.
I should say that Bradley was fine, he managed to avoid the desperate dives for the lomacock that all other answers can't seem to avoid. Well, on the plus side I've got someone to hate!
I'm ok with the clowning around. Just listening to Atlas and Joe salivate over it is ridiculous. Bradley even said he didn't like it because he could get caught and Teddy told him that Lomachenko is never out of position when he's clowning.

Doesn't the clowning make you prey for that shot? It does me, when he beckoned him into the corner at him I was begging for him to catch clean and drop him. When you're that good I'd just prefer to see you get guys out quick.

Absolutely, but it's so much more that makes me want to see him flattened. LOL, I loved it when Whitaker did it. Crawford is the guy, God I'd love to see that fight. Lomachenko would get his ass kicked.

Absolutely. Aside maybe Ward Crawford is the best fighter about these days, I can't wait to see hi, unify. I think Garcia would beat Loma too.

Have you seen pictures of Lamochenko and Garcia? It looks like a kid meeting his hero. Garcia will walk right through him.

There's a better picture of them posing heads next to each other and they look like a different species, it just wouldn't post for some reason.
I hope you're wrong, I'd love to see him fight either of those two.
Edit.
Got it.

It's not just that, look at their chests. Garcia is huge in comparison.

Fair point. Do you think he hits hard enough to keep him off though? Don't see it myself.

ESPN is mostly responsible for the decline of boxing in the US ... for decades they ONLY reported boxing's miscues ... I can't tell you how many times one of their weaselly little announcers regurgitated the phrase "another black eye for boxing" ...
And Teddy Atlas is a moron ... he looks, speaks and acts like a moron ... that's why he's still there ... they consider him boxing's spokesperson ... it's ESPN's way of presenting boxing as a sport for morons ... somehow less than all that other crap they gloat over ...
... (and this has nothing to do with the fact that their idiotic, meaningless NFL awards show ran over for an hour and a half (here in the US) ... whereupon they cut away to cover the Loma card at the 9th round of the Beltran fight) ...

Garcia looks like he could swallow Loma whole, chew him up and spit him out ... (which he probably will) ...

...meaning who? Lomachenko hitting hard enough? I don't think Loma's got that devastating punch...but his reflexies and his volume punching might do the trick..having said that, I've no idea...

"Put some water in the basement"
There should be a Teddy Atlas bingo drinking game.

He doesn't come off as a polarizing figure, but I guess it's the typical hate for the new hyped guy. I didn't watch the fight so I didn't have bs commentary to contend with either.

Yeah, the announcers are what did it for me. First on HBO, then ESPN took it up several levels. The showboating will always bother many.
