I have my eyes Ricky, and for sure I'm not the only one who saw this and drew this conclusion.

Caldo, I'm also not a Floyd fan, used to be but the more his career went on, the less I liked. I am big mcgregor fan as a personality and think he's brilliant in the UFC. But at boxing I can't be biased for him, he was poor
You are in the minority with your opinion about CM's efforts though. To a man, most people were impressed with what they saw from CM in the fight. Myself included even if i do feel like Floyd let him hang around and toyed with him. I do wish that CM's Team focused a little more on landing one big shot and loading up on punches than instead focusing on quantity of love taps. But both guys walked out of the ring with their pride unbroken and fans support which was a surprise to me. I thought one of the guys would have his legacy hurt as a result of this but nope. It was a great night for both fighters.

Ricky, what do you need a signed affidavit from Floyd? I'll work on it for you. Watch it again and focus on the punch totals. Most noteworthy, look at how many unanswered punches Conor gets to throw at the best counterpuncher in history without having anything coming back at him. Use your brain dude. The guy was 0-0. He looked it too.

Floyd let him punch himself out - knowing his arms aren't conditioned for 12 rounds of boxing. That is not the same as "carrying" someone. This idea Floyd could have went toe-to-toe with a bigger fresher younger man and got the job done in 1 or 2 rounds cannot be serious.
I think that you bought into the preflight hype job Ricky thinking that these guys really disliked each other. Quite the opposite. I think that these guys loved each other and will probably be close friends forever now just like the two bank robbers are linked together forever after a huge heist. Floyd didn't want to embarrass CM...what good would that do him? CM took a HUGE leap of faith agreeing to fight this guy on the biggest stage and HIS sport in which he had zero professional experience at. Floyd is many things but he's appreciative of his dance partners that make him the most coin and this was the biggest dance that Floyd couldn't have made happen without CM's fearlessness to look stupid and jeopardize his future marketability.

I personally think that these guys had some backroom handshakes saying where Floyd said "Ok, you don't say anything about me beating up women and I'll make sure that you look good come fight night". Maybe Floyd couldn't knock him out in the first bc CM's chin is strong but do you really think Floyd would have lost 10 seconds of that fight if he didn't want to? Come on. I'm done now. Good fight.

This conspiracy theory has grown arms and legs.

Why the eff would Floyd give a poo?
He couldn't have cared less. McGregor was better than he expected and he let him tire out. Really bizarre how protective boxing fans are when it comes to MMA. If Floyd looked like that against anyone else this whole place would be laughing at him.
I love mcgregor and the UFC and don't really like Floyd, misjudgement from you if you think I'm doing this to defend boxing!

I honestly don't know, but legitimising the fight is a lot better than making it out to be a complete farce

It was a broad statement. You could well just be wrong with no agenda at all. :TU:

They have every reason to like one another. Mayweather got the softest of targets and a huge purse for his 50-0, and mcgregor got a career high purse for a fight that was a no-lose situation.

Well, it could have been a losing proposition for Conor had Floyd not carried him for 9 or 10 rounds. Right? It was no different from when Michael Jordan used to play celebrities and other sportsmen from different sports for charity. He used to let the guy hang in there until the end so that fans that paid to see it would get their money's worth.

I also can't stand how people are analyzing Floyd's performance and saying that he's "lost it" or "didn't look good". How the heck should he look at 40 years old? His career was over years ago. LOL. People are funny. Oh Floyd's NOT the best in the world anymore at 40? No way. really? DUH>

It was a sort of exhibition. Im sure that if conor had caught and hurt mayweather hed have gone for it, but both men knew only one outcome was likely and played to the gallery a bit

George Foreman, two weeks later after Mayweather vs McGregor, says "Boxing SHOULD apologize" for their treatment of McGregor and the promotion of the fight.

"If Conor had caught and hurt mayweather" FMJ would have done an exponential SSM on him. The low blow that actually hurt FMJ was the end for McG.

Notice how an ATG deals with low blows, Krushedner crybabies. :OhYes:

I just meant tgat in the incredibly unlikely event conor landed a huge blow and mayweather was reeling hed have tried to end the fight, despite the factbit was a glorified exhibition.
