You didn't read the article properly did you? Sanchez simply filed a complaint to the NSAC, who have yet to decide a suitable course of action.
Canelo's beard is shorter than Conor McGregor's, with the Irishman allowed to keep his beard for his bout against Mayweather.
Sanchez knows this, so this could simply be gamesmanship to create a little last-minute controversy to help sell the fight, which also allows the GGG die-hard conspiracy theorists to have an extra reason to claim the Nevada officials are "corrupt" when his request is likely denied.
Put it this way, Canelo's beard is clearly shorter than Curtis Stevens was for his fight against GGG and Abel Sanchez couldn't give a flying fûck about that, could he?
Did you see the length of Curtis Stevens' beard for Lemieux fight? It resembled something that Gandalf would have been proud of!
Plenty of sports combat fighters have been allowed to compete under the NSAC jurisdiction whilst wearing longer beards than the one Canelo has (i.e. Danny Williams and Kimbo Slice).
This is simply more conspiracy theorist bûllshît nonsense!
E1, you are the one talking nonsense here. You are referencing the lengths of Curtis Stevens beard lengths when he fought in NY under a totally different Boxing commision set of rules. So you are the one that is making no sense here.

You chose to attack my comments without reading them, didn't you?
I mentioned Curtis Stevens, because Abel Sanchez couldn't give a fûckîng shît about his beard when he faced Golovkin, hence the silliness and hypocrisy of his complaints.
I also detailed two fighters in my post you quoted that wore lengthy beards whilst competing under the NSAC jurisdiction... and I'm perplexed about your inability to comprehend this point that I articulated.
I also subsequently submitted another post that detailed further examples, yet you didn't bother to comment on that, did you?
You claim that I'm "talking nonsense", but how can you say this when it's abundantly clear that you can't fûckîng read?
Either apologise or remain quiet!

You've contradicted yourself...
Emanuel Augustus, Billy Joe Saunders, Tony Bellew, Jorge Linares, Joe Frazier, Michael Spinks, Leon Spinks, Evander Holyfield, David Haye, Curtis Stevens, Conor McGregor, Danny Williams, Kimbo Slice, Jean Pascal, Lamont Peterson, Roberto Duran, Robert Guerrero, Shannon Briggs, Manny Pacquiao and Keith Thurman have all entered the ring possessing hairier and lengthier beards than the one Canelo is currently sporting.
You said absolutely fûckîng nothing about beards when these guys fought whilst wearing them, but somehow it's suddenly become an issue for you now? Seriously!?!?
You can't say that the NSAC allowing other fighters with longer beards than the one that Alvarez is wearing as being irrelevant, whilst at the very same time, bitterly complaining about Canelo's.
Similarly, Abel Sanchez should not complain about Canelo's beard, when he clearly didn't give a fûckîng shît about the beard that Curtis Stevens wore against GGG.
Stop spreading your fictional conspiracy theorist bûllshît nonsense!
If opponents don't care, it is their right. In this case, team GGG protested, so if the rule is not followed, then it proves once again how corrupt NSAC is.

It's always something crooked in OC (organized crime) owned Las Vegas, from the slot machines to the politicians to the boxing refs and judges. That's pretty much a given.

Yeah, I am pretty sure that I saw little barbs of wire braided into GingerHead's beard.

They will stop at nothing!!

The beard is clearly hard enough to scratch an eye or roughen the face as Sanchez says. There is a rule, and it needs to be followed. Of course, Canelo is so used to bending rules.

Dave Moretti and Adailade Byrd will be 2 of the 3 ringside judges and old friend Kenny Bayless will officiate inside the ring.
It's the same formula that Floyd perfected on his way to controlling Vegas. If you have 2 out of the 3 judges in your pocket, it doesn't matter who that 3rd judge is...you can't lose. For good measure, secure the ref in the fight and pay him too so you can have some control over the action inside the ring.
I will guarantee that no matter what happens in this fight Saturday, if it goes to the cards, there's no way Moretti or Byrd have the score for GGG. No matter if there are knockdowns...mark my words. The fix is in and GGG should open his eyes as it's knockout or bust in this fight.

Brilliant, you called it!
Adalaide Byrd 118 - 110 for Canelo!
Delusion, incompetence, corruption?
If they wanted to cheat us she would have scored it 115 - 113. But no, they're laughing at us with this kind of fantastically brazen greed on display.
GGG had to knock Canelo out to win it was said, and so it was proved to be.

One bad scorecard for a highly competitive bout does not justify accusations of corruption.
Based on what I've read, only Adelaide Byrd's scorecard is being criticised by the media.
For sure, her competence should be questioned, but there is no evidence to justify any accusations of criminal shenanigans.

The evidence is that 118-110 is impossible. Beyond conceivable score. So corruptionn is a logical conclusion.

I don't take any joy in being right about this one bud. Sad and pathetic is all that i can come up with. I"m also tired of the boxers that keep getting screwed...sitting there smiling for the post fight interview all "ah shucks" about the bogus outcome. Yeah, GGG will make more money in rematch but I'd love to see some emotion and anger.

The controversial outcome of this bout will help sell the rematch, resulting in GGG earning much more money in a bout he'll be expected to win.
Boxers are known as "PRIZEfighters" not "PRIDEfighters", so Gennady won't be too upset about boosting his retirement fund with another eight figure sum, hence the reason why Golovkin didn't seem too perturbed about his resume being tarnished.
