Harsh but when I looked at Vitalis record again, it's pretty close. As pish as the fight was, beating Wlad is a bigger win than any Vitali had.
See that's where you guys lose me in all this. You guys call his fight with Wlad a fight. It wasn't one.

I've seen 5 year olds have more vicious scraps than that.

Tyson Fury

Wladimir Klitschko
Steve Cunningham
Dereck Chisora II
Dereck Chisora I
Christian Hammer
Kevin Johnson
Martin Rogan
John McDermott II
Nicolai Firtha
Neven Pajkic

Vitali Klitschko

Corrie Sanders
Samuel Peter
Dereck Chisora
Kirk Johnson
Herbie Hide
Lennox Lewis - (Lost)
Larry Donald
Danny Williams
Tomasz Adamek
Juan Carlos Gomez

Vitali's record is deeper, but Fury's win over Wlad is far superior to any win on Vitali's record.

It was the worst fight I've ever seen, that doesn't stricken it from the records. If that was the case, wlad wouldn't rate at all. You're usually even keeled, when you're not you're a raving lunatic.

The only Top 10 ranked opponent Tyson Fury ever beat was Wladimir. I'll grant it to you that Wladimir is a far more significant win than anybody Vitali beat.

At least 5 or 6 of the guys Vitali fought were Top 10 contenders at the time he fought them. None were world beaters, but it equates to a better overall career. Especially when you consider the fact that Chisora...who counts as 2 of Fury's best wins, was also one of Vitali's wins, and Vitali didn't need a 2nd fight with him to beat him decisively.

I didn't mean literally, but if all you posted about was fury and Wilder you'd be right there in a worst poster contest.

You have guys you sh*t on far beyond any reason...Vitali for instance, but I don't give you nearly as much guff about it as you give me for my stance on these two.

Fury changes his story on a daily basis, so who gives a toss. Tomorrow he’ll probably be calling out AJ and Wilder again.

Fury beat Chisora more convincingly than Vitali did, twice. Vitali was not impressive against Chisora.

Fury's record is very top heavy, but Vitali's is deep only at a decent contender level.

How many wins over top 5 ranked fighters does Vitali have? Two?

This. Social media keeps him relevant to an extent, but we've had about four return dates this year, two fight dates last year, an abundance of retirements and the same number of 'I'll be back' tweets, and the net result is he still looks like a middle aged fat guy.

If every fight in boxing was like his against Wlad the sport would be as popular as tiddlywinks. He's been a truly dismal champion.

I'm not saying anything irrational in regards to either of them. I don't claim they didn't do things they did. I just call 'em out on their careers as they stand, and how I see them.

Both Wilder and Fury are physically capable of fighting some more, and proving my harsh criticism wrong. They've still got it to do though.

Hell who knows, maybe Andre Dirrell will one day actually be a decent fighter who doesn't win his fights in a bullsh*t way and not be the target of our collective criticism...but I doubt it.

See you don't give me sh*t about a guy like Dirrell or Stevenson when I say things like that because you agree with me. For whatever reason you don't here...which is fine.

Fury and Wilder, for all my current dislike of them are still capable of earning my respect as fighters. It's up to them to do it. People throwing hissy fits on forums because I talk bad about 'em ain't doing it for 'em.

Yeah probably 2.

And no Cunningham and Chisora were never Top 10 Heavyweights. Even on their best Heavyweight days. I don't think I've ever had Cunningham Top 15 even.

I guess I shouldn't expect an idiot to be able to decipher a scoreboard. You mean the standings where you've picked 33 fights and I've picked 12? The one where in the last 10 fights I have 384 pts to your 325? Yeah, we can add that challenge to the great fights I list for you that your noob ass has never heard of.

Join boxing_prophet and see if you can beat me there.

I'm 2-0 in my Beat the Boss challenge, and have finished #3 in the last 2 months out of at least 150 players. You think you can top that? Bring it Nancy!

Fields wide open by the way. The fights we're picking on for October haven't even begun yet.

Sorry, nerd, one board is enough for me. Not that picking fights is the height of boxing knowledge. Then again, I'm talking to someone who thinks their personal top 10 and enjoyment of fights is an historical measuring stick. Anyway, this is the only section of this forum that doesn't suck, so I won't clutter it up owning you.
