He should tell sick note to knob off and try and score a shot at Parker or Charr.
He's eanring much more vs. Haye that he would get fighting Parker and Charr combined.
If the fight goes through.

But how often does Sick Note pull out?

Beating Charr or Parker would set up a huge payday Vs Joshua in a unification. (Yeah, I know Charr doesn't have a real world title but that won't matter to Hearn and the casuals).

Grilling Machine wrote: 06 Dec 2017, 17:49 You couldn't do polls that way, but you could start a Chisora-versus-X-who-wins post within his thread.

I get where you're coming from, but a lot of your threads seem inspired by potential fights you've seen others talking about elsewhere, so the new thread feels like it's fragmenting that discussion and forcing those guys across the road. The trick is to get in before anyone else thinks of A-versus-B as plausible so that no-one's put out, else create those general threads for individuals and pose your questions in there.

We love talking about who-wins-what-and-how on here, so it's not the nature of your threads, just that chat about the same boxers can be spread too thinly when you create a thread for each specific fight. It's a shame that polls can't be added to posts.
:TU:

Back to the fight, who have you got?
And more importantly will you be buying the PPV?

No-way he gets through a long stand-alone camp for Bellew.
Training camp on the back of a knock over job could do the trick.
He'd get injured in that too
:maybe:

I thought that Bellew was going to be that knock over job :maybe:

Does anyone seriously think Haye is going to be fit and able for may the 5th? He's done

Depends on Haye for both answers at the minute. I'll only pay if we get to the Saturday with no injury rumours. And if it's true that Haye's fully fit, I'd pick him to win in 5 or so rounds. That's unless Bellew decides to bring it and walks onto a shot, but I'd be surprised if that happens.

My feeling is that Haye's planning to intimidate Bellew into making mistakes by showing that he's back to his dangerous self. So I don't expect a first-round blowout, but a fairly measured turning of the screws until Bellew's negativity becomes visible, thereby lessening Haye's risk to unload. The best thing for Bellew is to hold centre, box positively, and just hope that he doesn't get countered by Haye's ageing reflexes.

This is without doubt his last chance. I think he can get to the the ring fit and able. It’s staying fit and able when in the heat of the battle I worry about.

He said he needs to win emphatically. If he 'just about' wins, I doubt he'll fight again.

Can I take from this you want Bellew to beat Haye?

I wouldn't count on it.
I'd say there's a good likelihood he'll pull out with injury, if he makes the fight, you're right, there's a good chance he'll get injured.

At this point I will be astounded if he comes through both a camp and a fight injury free

I don't mind who wins, but I'd like to see the victor move on to their last fight.

Not right now, no! It's too far away for one thing. I'm hoping there's summat to get fired up about when it happens.

This is one of those character-led fights, where the action's maybe the least entertaining aspect. Same as Fury, where I always hope he gets knocked down to see his chest-beating routine, before moving on to the karaoke finish.

Fair play.
I hope Haye wins, plenty more fights out there with him at heavyweight rather than Bellew...

David Haye is a long way from being relevant.

Come 2018, it will be 7 years since Wladimir outclassed him & it will be 6 years since he fought a heavyweight that could hit him back.

Tony Bellew isn't an HW; never was, never will be & it's sad that Haye has had to reduce himself to having to fight CWs in order to try & prove his worth as an HW.

If another body part of his doesn't go 'snap' & this fight actually happens, he should win, but his next fight after that has to be against an actual HW that we've heard of & one that can hit him back.

Continuing to raid his local cemetery, hospital ICU department & the CW top 10 for opponents is not going to garner him any credence in the HW title picture whatsoever.

AJ can be hit and Haye hits hard, harder than Dillian Whyte.
I give Haye more than a chance, IF fully fit...
I don't disagree, I just don't think we will ever see a fully fit Haye again hence why I wouldn't give him a chance v AJ
Joshua vs. Haye poll from a while back -
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=200801&p=4711718&hi ... s#p4711718

a lot of people favoured Mr. Haye...
Interesting. All about opinions. I believe the Haye that dismantled Chisora would beat AJ but that Haye is long gone.

The obvious key to the fight is whether Haye comes through the camp injury free.

He needs top quality sparring to regain his timing. If injuries happen during the camp & sparring is skipped, then Tony Bellew wins the fight.

Less injuries during the camp for Haye, the closer the fight becomes.

My other comment is, surely Haye cannot be as bad as he was in the 1st fight, if he is not that makes for a close fight.

My heart wants Bellew ... my head says Haye.

haye as bad as he was was cleary several rounds up and taking even more control. ppl should rewatch the round or so b4 the leg goes. bellews looking gassed and increasingly gunshy.this wasnt a bellew wearing him down job, it was a snap your fucked result.

but we all know haye has the edge if healthy, but thats such a huge doubt these days. who can really be surprised if hes injured and loses again.

btw id still give bellew and a reasonably healthy haye a good chance vs joe 'majority decision' parker.
