Audley's excuse is that he was old, messed around managing himself and still won a Euro title and two prizefighters.

Makes me think. Are there any other Gold/Silver/Bronze Olympic medalists that have just not done well as pro’s.

I know you say Audley still managed to win the Euro, which isn’t bad. Was he ever actually expected to win a world title? Was Price?

Must be plenty, right? Every Olympics has three (four?) medals for each division every four years. Must be a load that never even turned pro I suspect. Just looked this up:

As of 2008
Medals Awarded: 893
Gold Medals: 229
Out of the 229, 17% or 38 went on to win world titles.

The further back you go, the less success you see.

My first pro trainer/manager lost to RJJ and won a bronze medal at the Olympics in Korea, he won WBC Super Middle title.

The more recent trend is much higher. Just by including the next two Olympics it looks like this:

Gold Medals: 237, (there were 219 different winners)
41 world champions
success rate of 18.72%

Of course the percentage goes through the roof after the fall of the Iron Curtain. I'm sure the rate is in the 70-80 if not higher as Eastern Bloc athletes drove down the pro numbers.

Because we haven’t really seen him perform like this in a while apart from his very small success against Povetkin.

I think Price should rematch Kuzmin. Not like Kuzmin is making big moves at the moment.
