Oliver McCall about to burst in to tears, Jeff Lacy looking like a shy kid on the first day of school, the controlled burning rage in Lennox's eyes before Rahman II, the fear in Bruno's eyes freezing his shoulders coming out for Tyson II, the mad over-confidence of Anthony Farnell high-fiving the crowd before Takaloo....
just off the top of my head. - sure there are more - times when you can see in the ringwalk that the fight has already started and the odds are changing before your very eyes.
Vernon Forrest coming in to a personalised rapper while Ricardo Mayorga stood there glowering at him.
An even more stark example of that was the Cory Spinks-Zab Judah rematch. Cory Spinks was being rapped into the ring, and was acting like was a block party there. Meanwhile Zab is pacing back and forth in the ring like a caged lion.
I agree with most of that - they're both top pros and came in looking good., Ring-walks, however - they ARE revealing..
How so?

You have to be very careful about selective reinforcement in this type of scenario though - it probably wouldn't be that difficult to find historical fights where one fighter looked far more fired up on the ringwalk and one looked more nervous, but the more nervous fighter ended up winning conclusively.

That's true - and often a ringwalk is just a walk to the ring, but I can't think of a time when I saw something like the above and it thought "bingo - he's won/lost" and been wrong.

Lots of UK bookies have him at 2.50
Eubank's averaging 1.70

For me, I *can't see what the fuss is about*.... Eubank wins this as sure as night follows day, I can't see how others can't see it.
Specsavers on Monday yeah muka?

If it had gone 15 rounds Eubanks would have been flattened. He was pretty much spent.

Yep, fair enough, as those are good examples you picked

Groves looked done winning the title, that was his final throw of the dice when he threw the kitchen sink at Zeuge just before the ref jumped in.
If Zeuge made it out the round Groves was being stopped 100%.
Same with Cox.... He landed a peach of a body shot but was already beginning to blow in round 4!
Just look at the relief when you won.... You would think he beat GGG never mind a British level fighter who was moving up in weight.
He hasn't the engine to stay with Eubank at this point in his career.
And that should be clear to see for anyone with a pair of eyes. 8 or 9 rounds and someone put a fork in him he's done!
