Witter was his main rival throughout his career and he ducked him.

Except that he didn't fry bigger fish. He fought trash like Lazcano, Urango and Maussa.

Hatton's record is going to age badly and ducking Witter will affect how he will be considered negatively.

Hatton's bank balance is of no interest to me.

I think the fact that the Witter question is still raised so frequently shows that many people disagree.

To be honest, I reckon a lot of people (including myself) reckon that Hatton would have won, but his reluctance to make the fight raises doubts.
