As said above, the board have said as much. I mean, if he was really bothered about it he'd turn up and be at ringside. If Joshua wins Hearn will bring him into the ring.

If he wants to stay in the States fighting in front of about fifteen percent of a Joshua crowd earning less than a fifth of what Joshua makes then he can crack on. But it really does seem like such a feeble excuse.

Exactly. It's a really feeble excuse. Wilder talks about wanting the fight but he doesn't seem to realise how weak his position is. He needs to be the one pushing it because he's the B side.

I cannot remember many British staged fights where a possible future opponent has got in the ring.

If you can name a fight then I will bow to your knowledge.

i dont feel wilder has to push it, if hearn wants him he then needs to go get him. Wilder after all holds the most prestigious belt, the coveted WBC green one. Joshua will badly want that belt and wilder knows it. im not sure Wilder badly wants Joshuas belts.

It's not WWE. Does it make any difference if he's at the fight or not. It's promoters that cause problems with fights. There's no way either of these 2 would not want to fight each other regardless of any cringey WWE style ring face offs or not
