How this man has a job when he clearly is so inept at the smallest of things. It's not like this is a one off.

The thing is, I enjoy watching him box (sometimes!), but he's made his career so much harder than it needed to be with his talk. It doesn't help that John reacts to his feelings of persecution by talking up Tyson as the best heavyweight since Tyson/Holmes/Foreman. In any given year of his career, I think there was at least one other heavy who had his number. Wlad was said to have family problems and a lack of focus, but Fury got past him that night; fair play.

But now what? With John in the background ready to boil over with resentment and disappointment if he loses. It's a ton of pressure from both his dad and — because of his own mouth — himself. Losing shouldn't be the end of his world at all, but that's the corner he's walked into. (A lot of boxing fans have to take some of the blame for this modern culture, right enough.)

By comparison, Joshua could take the fight under minimal pressure. And I don't think he's afraid of Fury, whereas anyone who doesn't feel a bit threatened by AJ's daft. Of the active lot, that is. It's Fury's lack of public humility and honesty that's turned people against him, not the fact he's a traveller. If he'd just admit that he's wary of Joshua but wants a crack anyway... He'd probably be the fans' favourite then.

Nobody has turned against him! He got a very respectable attendance against Seferi, as I said he would. As it stands, nobody has had his number, looking at the latest pics, he’s getting closer to peak fitness. I’d imagine the hold up is over cash. You’d want paying to box Fury. He’s probably already on a minimum fee on his contact, too. Paying Frampton as well, that’s a lot of wages.

But Warren saying the opponent will be announced Monday and then not announcing it is Embarassing.

Not the first time he has done this.

If you don't have the opponent signed then don't say anything, it's really not difficult.
