quite right mate, think you should be well proud of yourself, Ian and Lee too, its not many that get to have their names in a nationwide publication / have the balls and the work ethic to get it off the ground.
speaking of which aint received mine yet lol! Just messing only subscribed beginning of week. I am looking forward to it with all the positive feedback also as I didnt get my copy of BN last week, got eff all to read on the train as finished my books on Ali and Lennox.

No sign of it in the boxing hotbed that is West Suffolk. But then again Whsmiths haven't dared camp down here yet.

Makes you wonder who comes up with these ideas..............
Glyn Leach: Ok people gather round. These Uppercut bastards are breathing down our necks & we need an edge.
Let's throw open the floor and blue sky some ideas.......yes Bernie?
Bernie: What about a really tacky rubber key ring, sellotaped to the cover Glyn?
Glyn:.............................thanks Bernie.............anyone else?......No?

Yeah, it looked well tacky. Some werewolf/bulldog crossbreed with boxing gloves on. Surely they could have used a picture of a real werewolf e.g. a bearded Duran.

Yeah, it's strange what happened to duran eh. He really did look like Charles Manson at one point.

sSaw it yesteray, but having picked up issue three of the Fools and Horses collecters DVD's and BN the budget dried up, however I read through it.
Some good articles...James was that the same Gambling Casino piece from the trial issue or a continuation of the story - I didn't read it.
I'm really chuffed for you lot. Fair play, its a tremendous effort to get this far....
The cover took some spotting though - just an observation.

It was a sort of update. As few people would have seen the trial issue, I had to reprise the former content, but also there had been some major developments since then, like the fact that the Kerzner group had won the bids for the first round of casino resorts.
Just read today that Wembley Stadium area is being developed by Caesar's palace, fornicating excellent news.
Imagine how much bigger Thompson v Haye would have been that night!

Just finished the copy with Danny Williams on the cover (don't know if that was the latest one or not), and it was a good read. I enjoyed the article on nicknames, mildly amusing to say the least. Only problem was, it was on the top shelf in the news agents. everyone thought i was buying some sort of Bi-racial homo-fisting magazine!

Glad you liked it and yes, that is our current issue. I've found quite a few problems with how they actually go on the shelves. You would think they'd get it right...I don't even want to tell you how much distribution costs!

Brought my copy yesterday dinner time from Smith's, luckily or rather worringly perhaps there were still loads of copies left...doubt they shift much Boxing literature here though, Wolverhampton has never been a Boxing hotbed, especially not since Nigel Rafferty retired anyway

I am already enjoying the mag though, i am getting through it quickly at work. Steve Holdsworth's column was good although a little confusing at times....he suddenly changed the subject half way through his article

Still i am enjoying it and will be subscribing on Monday hopefully

finally got to read a copy
First thoughts. Decent writing ranging from good to excellent. The Bruno/Witherspoon piece is very well constructed.
Design - bloody awful. The leading ( spacing between lines ) is appalling ( ever the publisher ) and juvenile.
Much as I like looking at the ladies, drop the Ring Card girl and keep it for Playboy. It cheapens the mag and is just padding
If I had one major criticism, I would have liked some longer articles with more background depth.
I think it is a welcome addition and alternative to BM which I hate. I hope it finds its feet and develops the plus points
Good luck guys
