LAS VEGAS – Manny Pacquiao and Adrien Broner spent most of this week cracking jokes and smiling while promoting their fight.
Both boxers stood, stone-faced, as they stared at one another Friday afternoon at a weigh-in that drew a few thousand fans to MGM Grand Garden Arena. Pacquiao eventually cracked a smile before they parted ways.
Moments earlier, the 40-year-old Pacquiao stepped on the Nevada State Athletic Commission’s scale at 146 pounds for their Showtime Pay-Per-View main event Saturday night at MGM Grand Garden Arena. Broner, 29, weighed in at 146½ pounds, half a pound below the welterweight limit of 147.

It's a PPV, the DAZN is a subscription, and yeah, it's rubbish. I'm not going to bother with anything other than reading the results tomorrow in case there was an upset.

That's Broner's problem he's too lazy to do whats required to win at the top level, he's got some skills but is too thick in the ring to outthink the top guys, I think he has the tools to beat Pacquiao but its whether he can use them on the night instead of posturing, imitating shoulder rolls poorly and then whinging at the decision afterwards
I'm going for Pacquiao to outwork him to win a decision, can see him outhustling Broner down the stretch, hopefully similar to how Maidana did
Pac is even money to wim by dec... seems a great bet imo. I think this will look like Pac vs Rios. A flatfooted Broner getting peppered at will from a Pac happy to come in & out of range at his own pace.

pac man on points for me , he still wins rounds with work rate , i think broner should try and go for a stoppage . try land a upper cut with manny on the offence , cant see him putting manny on the back foot, wait for a counter, he is tough broner maybe fight of the ropes

Lou Del Valle looks like he's in his 60s! I can't believe he boxed as recently as 10 years ago. He looks like how Rocky Graziano looked when he was training fighters in the 1990s!
