He has no need to risk that. He can take on a 10-20 HW ranked fighter and if he doesn't obliterate them, he has the option of moving back to CW with his "0" still intact.
I hear you.

But he could risk losing out on a crack at the heavyweight title and the money that comes with it?

He might just fancy doing what Roy Jones did, except against a tougher belt holder. He doesn't seem short of confidence
He is long on integrity it seems. If that's so, he won't take the RJJ route. Who knows...his team will figure it out. He's been well-managed so far and he's taken on all comers, so like I said. Who knows. :maybe:
His next move will be interesting eh?

I can't wait for him to move up. I really think his presence will get a lot of other fights to take place. May send the contenders scurrying to find an opponent as Usyk will get a ton of attention. Yay! :TU:

Extremely. Years ago on UK TV there was a quizshow based around football (soccer) called "Quizball". The objective predictably was to score goals and to do that you could elect to go direct and try to answer a very difficult question or play the passing game and have to answer four very much easier questions. I think there was at least one maybe two other choices in between, you get the idea.

Usyk's situation kind of reminds me of "Quizball". Will he choose the direct route or take his time to get there? I guess the difference is the last question is going to be potentially very difficult whichever route he opts for.
