Nope didn't.. Did you edit or re-post the pick or neither? Link me.
I quoted my pick in the Sept thread. Not sure how to tag/link you to it, if that is possible?
Yeah, that's not the way... Should edit the old unless it contains a pick for a fight that's already ended.. then new reply.

I'll fix it.

Thanks man. I didn't want to edit the original post, in case it looked like I changed it after or something. Will do that next time though.

Did you not update yet, JCS? Just asking because, even after hard refresh, I can't see result from last Friday (Beterbiev KO 10)... :maybe:

Dear JCS, I know the fight is still on our schedule, but our Japanese editor goes crazy if someone "touches" HIS country... Otherwise, I would have taken it off. Shiro will not defend, at least not against Alvarado, because Alvarado pulled out of the fight a few days ago, citing an injury, and therefore, being unable to go forward with the planned unification fight! :TU:

The results of the Ultimate Boxer Tounament are not in the right order, can you correct it? Nick Webb will be higher in the ranking than his actual 115 place

Yeah, well done EJA. When I was on my late run I was still thinking I might be able to chase you down, but you've been #1 for pretty much the whole year, so it is a well deserved victory.

You only have to make a formatted prediction in the January prediction thread to start taking part. No name taking involved.

Congrats to EJA on the victory!

I thought I could make a move... but to no avail. Kudos to the dude who makes/runs the contest, it really renewed a lot of my interest in fights and fighters i’d usually tend to ignore.
So cool to chat with folks who actually seem to know and love boxing. :TU:

Alright.. 8th place, I'll take it.

If you have ideas for 2020 season (updates, mods, etc) -- speak now.

January looks pretty horrible. Only 2 fights that possibly make it. No surefire ones until Ramirez/Postol on Feb 2nd.

Bronze Cup, yeah… Cool! If you think there ain't nothing for January, what about the two super middleweight title fights? One is for WBC/WBO titles, the other one for WBA/IBF titles...

https://boxrec.com/en/event/798237

I know you said you would not include female fights, the ONE fight you ever included (Shields vs. Hammer) never happened, but, on the other hand, if there is nothing else, female fights become more and more popular, so, why not include at least the big ones, like these two at supermiddle? After all, Alejandra Jiménez, the unbeaten ex-WBC heavyweight champ from Mexico is involved, and more and more people are interested in female boxing... I mean, there are some pretty good fighters out there atm: Braekhus, who is The Ring's P4P #1-fighter, Katie Taylor, who holds all four plus The Ring's lightweight titles, Claressa Shields, who holds all four major middleweight titles, will fight in January for two vacant titles at super welterweight, Estelle Mossely, Amanda Serrano (who next has an MMA scrap scheduled) etc...

But OK... let's see, what About Daniel Román vs. Murodjon Akhmadaliev, or, on the same Card, Tevin Farmer vs. Joseph Díaz? At least, in February, we will have some real A-class fights… 40 this year is not alot, a few years back, you included more like 50... But that's not your fault, JCS... Thanks for still running this game! :TU:

The January possibles (in my mind) are Williams/Rosario and Roman/LongSovietMuslimNameGuy

I'm pretty sure I've included a couple female fights in the PTBF history.. would have to research.

Female fights that almost no one is interested in and that hardly anyone has actually seen them fight? Errr, I disagree

Yeah.. I have the "novelty fight" distinction which is half-credit... haven't used that in a while.

For a full credit fight.. I'm not sure there's too many to be made in women's boxing that make PTBF.

Thanks for running again, JCS. Much appreciated!

Managed to pull another Top 10 out of my backside out of nowhere.

Happy New Year all from Scotland!

See you in 2020 for another year.

I love making a fool of myself every year, but I don't want to have to start following the ladies just to compete. Please don't.
