Whyte tuning down 5 mil for a world heavyweight title fight at Wembley is just ridiculous, cant remember any of these so called contenders pulling the shite with Klitschko, fvck Miller as well, Broner just got 2 mill for fighting Pacquiao FFS
You don't hear of this with Wilder's opponents either. FFS, they made Fury/Wilder without us knowing practically!
Fury Wilder happened so quickly and easily i thought it was a wind up.

LOL! Exactly. Without bias, all the trials and tribulations of HW matchups are associated with Hearn/AJ's team. Can't rightly argue.

It doesn't appear to be the length of time to train that is worrying Whyte.
His potential opponent has been in training camps in Oregon and Dubai and Whyte appears to be worried that "Body Beautiful" is not being tested.

Yeh. It’s like when Hearn was pushing Wilder to fight Whyte. They were offering Wilder £5-7m, so then what was Whyte going to be paid?
But now he wants £££ against Joshua because he knows it will generate lots of revenue.
He should get the same as Povetkin.
Parker, regardless of where he was from, brought a belt to the fight and the winner was going to unify 3 of the 4 word titles.
If Whyte is being offered a flat fee of £5m, surely he will get a smal percentage of PPV sales..

Eddie has made this mess by allowing Whyte to headline 2 PPVS so its his own fault, on the other hand if I was Eddie i'd tell Whyte to either accept the fight or wait another couple of years and see if the WBC mandate a fight with Wilder which he should've already had, its one thing being an A side against the likes of Parker and Chisora but everyone knows Joshua is top dog in the Heavyweight division and that includes Wilder and Fury
I'm no matchroom fanboy or conspiracy buff but I agree with Hearn when he says all the other top HWs and their managers and all against Joshua and conspiring against him, I just seen an interview with Wilder where he says he doesn't need AJ and has enough opponents to keep him busy for the next 2 years, can you imagine the furore if Joshua said that??
I wonder what Lennox will have to say about Wilder's comments
TheLeprechaun wrote: ↑01 Feb 2019, 14:40
Hearn is ruining Joshua's career. Offering peanuts to opponents. He's already been played by fury and wilder and Joshua looks like he's ducking fights. To anyone not on this British forum of course.
That's silly.
I don't think Joshua isn't ducking fights because I'm British.
AND it runs counter to your own logic. These fights aren't getting made because Hearn is "offering peanuts" - so how can AJ be ducking fights that aren't being made ?
Joey Dawejko is 5ft 10 and obese. He drew with Miller.
AJ is happy to go to USA to box Miller, but turned down $50m to fight Wilder.
You think this money was real ? I don't.
I'm sure Matchroom want to fight Miller, Whyte, Wilder, Fury in that order - makes the most money with least risk - but the idea that AJ is in any way "scared" to fight in the US OR face Wilder in general is just daft.
Whether you're British, an AJ fan or not - it's just daft.

Hearn has done a great job feeding Whyte , low risk fights and building him back up , I mean Brown , cmon the guy did'nt even train properly , the viking , all about money , Chisors , the gate keeper , Why did Hearn do it , easy build a domestic ppv fighter , and use him for aAJ opponent , but it seems to have gone to Whytes head , he says he knows his value , maybee he does , but i don't think he knows how good he his , , number 4 my arse , not until he beats , Poletvkin , Ortiz and Miller , because i would'nt be suprised to see Miller beat him , I think Whyte just shot himself in the foot , He wants a ppv fight next , Hearn needs to put a ppv fight on to keep Sky happy , and Whyte will not sell another ppv fight unless its a ddecent opponent , the domestic rivalry with Chisora done the job , but now he needs to step up and will probably get beat , and there goes his 5 million payday with Aj completly , Greed Greed and greed ,

Oh boo hoo
These millionaires need to forget about how they’re set up for life already and just get it on and fight.
So everybody wants this much money and AJ won’t pay them them that much so nobody fights anybody. Great.
When’s the Fury Wilder rematch?

Mmmm ,,, Do i detect a bit of needle in that interview , i've said it before in other posts , ican't help but think , Whyte is biting the hand that feeds him , got a feeling if he carries on Barry may step in and just say , cut him loose , , whats he gonna do then , no british ppv , Go to America and become another scalp for Wilder , Miller maybee , or even Joe Joyce , stay in England and fight Ortiz , Poletvkin , who both beat him , the guy just can't seem to read Eddies body language , which says , weve deleverd , a second crack at the champ , were giving you millions , were the champs camp , and its take it or leave it or has Eddie keeps saying go gamble with the others ,
Whytes just go to far ahead of himself , A fight with AJ , 5 million quid , win and Eddie just said 50-50 rematch to a even bigger fight , Lose and fight the others after , has a ppv gatekeeper , the guy needs to get himself a good manager . , The way he's going he'll be irrelevant when he gets beat and that will not be long without Ediie looking after him .

Well yeah, just give his shot to Miller with no promise of holding it open after. There's no excuse for haggling if Whyte's uninjured and reasonably fit. I think he should take 25% with 70 on the rematch table should he win. He'd also be allowed to choose the venue in that case.
I'll defend anyone wanting more time if they know they can't be 100% for the date, but I'm not sure if we'll ever see Whyte's prime actualised. I expect him to arrive for his next fight at 80% again, scrape the win, admit he needs to train harder, and then repeat the cycle until he retires. He's not wasting as much talent as Danny Williams, but he reminds me of him.
I think he has it in him to give Joshua a tough night if he loses 10lb and focuses on his cardio. Others have shown that you can give up size to Joshua and still compete. Haye seemed to get progressively worse as he gained weight; most smaller heavies do.

Very hard for Whyte to be in top knick when he spends half his time doing the managers job , has well as training , at this level you can't wear to many caps

What I find most fascinating is that the little set-to they had revealed that one big stumbling block was Whyte saying he will take the deal, as long as the percentages are reversed in the rematch, if he wins but Hearn and AJ refusing.
Of course they have to be prepared for all eventualities, I am not naive, but that shows a huge level of confidence from Whyte and a small lack of from AJ/Hearn. Whyte then said in the interview, in a rematch, if he wins, it should at least be 50-50 and outright asked Hearn whether he thought beating AJ should mean he is entitled to that. Hearn just evaded it.
Also interesting was that when Whyte was the A-side in the Chisora equation, he was forced into certain concessions and said so to Hearn and asked why he was forced into it, but when someone else is the A-side against him, suddenly all the rules change.
Plus, AJ training abroad where there is no testing and not being signed to the VADA clean boxing progamme. Whyte does not have an issue with that just to be a twat, he knows what he knows and I think there is a strong inference there on his belief on the supplements AJ takes.
Personally, I found it very revealing.

Whyte comes across as an ungratfeul ingrate. God I hope that AJ knocks him out quicker this time.
Never in my years of watching boxing has a fighter owed the promoter as much as Whyte has owed Eddie.Whyte did his bit obviously but he has done amazing by him and as for that $50m offer it is clearly bullshit so I don't know what Whyte is talking about. Look at the guarantees for the Wilder v Fury fight and tell me again that the $50m offer was real.
If Eddie had more PPV fighters I would say he should cut him loose but Whyte is one of two so he will have to stomach the ungratefulness for a while yet

Huh?!
Not the same fight and not the same fighters. Just because Wilder v Fury cannot earn $50million, does not mean Wilder vs AJ won't be able to do it. One obviously has the cash cow in the equation and one doesn't.
With that logic, roll to 2014 when Mayweather says "I want to earn $200 million to fight Pac", having just earned $32 million against Maidana. Two things are not related. It is not the same fight. It is not the same two fighters.

I like Whyte, hes a game lad but let's get it right, hes been levelled by Joshua already, that's why he wants as much £ as he can get.
