Hey like I said. Usyk made me a fan in this fight. I never expected the boxing lesson he gave AJ. I did make a bet on Usyk winning by ko in 10. I honestly thought a ko was the only chance he had.

My worst is probably telling everyone Canelo was chinny and to put money on Kirkland & Angulo thinking one of them would catch him. That stemmed from seeing Canelo get rocked against Cotto's brother. Turns out, from the Golovkin fights, his chin is unreal. Maybe they injected it with mexican beef.

In fairness, it’s easy to forget how poor Calzaghe had looked before the Lacy fight, he put in some extremely mediocre displays. A lot of similar predictions weren’t made solely on the perceived strength of Lacy, but also on how average Calzaghe had been performing.

Except for the Wlad fight when did he ever get into the mud with anyone? He never showed a willingness to get down and dirty when under fire.

before the scheduled AJ-Miller, this then turned into AJ-Ruiz.. Which was then AJ's first loss..

Yeah, It's true, he'd looked lacklustre and a little beatable, he'd been decked a few times over the last few years, and had also fought a lot of poor opponents, that he laboured to uninspiring wins over, but he made Lacy look like a rank Amateur in there, and effectively ended his career.
I think Calzaghe had something to prove that night, I think the critics got him fired up. He certainly fought like a man on a mission.
His wins over Lacy and Kessler really saved his career from mediocrity.

It's certainly not how I expected him to fight.
I figured he would be working the body, roughing him up on the inside, and generally trying to manhandle him.
Instead he did what Hagler did against leonard, except he did it for the full duration.

Down and dirty as it gets. Still fighting after the first bell, nearly a DQ. Then round two it was all on.
That AJ would have beaten Uysk, or at least gone out firing.

AJ's best moments vs Usyk was when he was TRYING to fight dirty (holding his head down and hitting), Usyk just had an answer for everything though, just stepped back and looked to the ref.
