Maybe he's just trying to use Machiavellian tactics to psych out his opponents and win the fight before they even step into the ring. In which case, that's not sissy at all! Judging by his record, it doesn't seem to be working though.

His trash talk is in poor taste, but it's just to hype a boring fight that no one wanted to see. I don't think he really wants to kill anybody in the ring. He's just trying to get publicity for himself and the event. Causing controversy seems to have worked.
I remember Mike Tyson's rant about eating Lennox's children or saying if Ruddock doesn't die it doesn't count. That got me hyped up for those fights as a kid. I don't expect good taste in a sport where people knock each other unconscious.
Your last line pretty much sums up it up perfectly.
People here love watching guys bash each others heads to a pulp. But for some reason get all huffy and sanctimonious when the spectre of legalized murder is raised by a fighter.
