Bias?

I think not. I was critical of him choosing Schwartz as an opponent and he's got plenty of flaws. I voted Joshua as no. 1 in the box rec ranking thread and Fury as 3 when it was set up.

I've also said that Fury needs to prove he's the best.

I think you're just trolling which is becoming a habit of yours.
I stand corrected.

I have no favorite, period. I just want them to fight and decide it. I am very tired of the Fury jock munchers.

“Wow, look at the linearal champ! He is so perfect.”

He has done fvck all to be considered number 1. I give him credit for coming back, but simply coming back does not give you the crown.

If he keeps fights sacks of mashed tators he is going to walk into a buzz saw.

Yes I am buzzed.

I suggest you go fvck yourself, to that big Fury poster.

Fury should stop fvcking off and prove himself, prior to falling apart like a Janga game again.

gilgamesh wrote: 16 Jun 2019, 19:18 Well I mean...he's already scheduled to fight Wilder early next year. Fighting another guy in the meantime, regardless of his level is admirable really because a lot of guys would just wait around for the big fight next year.
I guess the only positive spin I can give on it is that 99.99% of heavyweights are hardly active. They're sitting around waiting for title shots or opprotunities, while Fury is staying busy. No matter who you are fighting, you'll keep moving up the leaderboard because nobody else is doing anything.

Well done, I am. Gotta problem with that?

I'm not offended in the slightest.

I'm laughing at you.

Fury actually said he was hunting down Wilder, not sure how you've managed to read it differently
Well since the rematch was offered immediately and Fury jumped ship to a rival network. It kind of shows lack of true intent by Fury to rematch

Agree with that, but he needs to build his profile, so he isn't on the end of a pre-judged score card again.

But you will never build your profile fighting
C- class fighters in a half filled venue.

Fury's using media to build his rep. Folks must be swallowing his rhetoric.

I doubt that TFKoB will. Also, Ortiz taking the rematch is indicative.

Fury suggested that he wanted 3 fights in 2019 in quick succession, and implying some sort of progression. My expectation is that he fights some #16-25 opponent in his next fight, and someone #5-13 in the fight after that.

I can't identify a lot of opponents who would be ideal fits in terms of schedule, willingness to get beaten, and what not. Maybe Huck, Takam, Kabayel, Kuzmin, Kean, Hunter, Romanov, or Hrgovic.

To be honest I would rather watch him against Usyk (i know its too early) than against another puncher or brawler. We know Fury can beat people who just trying to walk him down.

I had to laugh when Fwank was asked who Tyson wou;ld be fighting next and he casually replied "Oh it'll be someone in the top five". "Oh yeah, which top 5 is that then?" I'm thinking. Given that Schwartz was WBO No. 2 that means someone of lesser quality than Schwarz doesn't it?

FWIW their latest rankings have Whyte, Schwarz, Fury, Rivas, Zhang, Spong, Fa and Fujimoto. To my mind only three of those are worthy of consideration in anyone's top 20. Two of those, Whyte and Rivas are fighting each other in July so if the WBO rankings are the basis of Fwank's top 5 comment then we could be looking at Zhang Zhi Lei, or Fujimoto maybe.

He called out Whyte recently to fight in an eliminator but has since dismissed him and said he has no interest in fighting him. That would be a good fight.

If his next fight is in the States, maybe Hunter or Bryan makes sense. Someone is due to take Charr down a peg or two as well.
