Did any boxing expert or newspaper predict a Ruiz win over Joshua?

lol a forum i posted on years ago had a guy like that.....would always go for the upset and so therefor got more of them then most posters did. he bragged about it and liked to think it made him some sort of boxing brilliance

problem was of course, by going for the underdog so often his overall pick rate was dismal and constantly hed blow easy fights that everyone else got. but he just ignored that part of his brilliance lol

another guy mustve picked against wlad klit in like 20 straight fights and was always wrong, but didnt let that change his opinion. and then finally got it right for fury and wanted respect for it. nah, cant respect the 'broken clock twice a day method'

I find that interesting. I know you overlooked Ruiz first time around, you were in good company, but generally you're a good judge so as a Joshua fan I take a little encouragement from that.

I'm on the fence. I felt that wasn't the AJ we are used to seeing and surely he couldn't be so shite next time. I mean we've seen him shrug off what appeared to be harder shots before. Against Ruiz his punch resistance was awful. On the other hand we've seen him look vulnerable in previous fights. He isn't particularly fluid because of his musculature and has to keep a tight rein on his energy levels. Ruiz looked better in all departments on the night.

Well Dwyer gave Ruiz 33% chance to win. More importantly hes prediction on how this fight would play out was really accurate. He also said that 1/9 odds for Ruiz to win were absurdly too low.
