you pay someone that much because you want something big out of them, its business not charity
gggs still bigger fight then a guy like andrade, and apparently dazn barely even have andrade in the mix
After Andrade's latest snooze fest, DAZN doesn't want to match its stars against him. Stars are supposed to shine, be exciting and add subscriptions versus chasing a clown around the ring making fans fall asleep.

canelo has plenty of reason to take there orders, they pay him huge and have him on contract, with backers far more powerful then him and oscar
GGG has a fat contract too and as much money as they're already losing a fight like that is off the charts.

GGG faced Steve Rolls on DAZN. Canelo faced Rocky Fielding on DAZN.
DAZN are clearly not that bothered about quality control. So no name should be ruled-out, regardless as to whether we perceive a certain opponent as being good enough or not.
Bob Arum says that Canelo-Kovalev can be made for December, with Sergey facing Anthony Yarde during the interim.
Canelo may be stripped of his IBF strap if he fails to face Sergiy Derevyanchenko next.
If the Mexican does decide to vacate his IBF strap, GGG and Derevyanchenko will be ordered to compete for the vacant title. However, Gennadiy previously declined an opportunity to face the Ukraine, which resulted in him being stripped of his IBF strap. And if that happens again, Sergiy will likely face Kamil Szeremeta instead.
For those that are wondering, Sergiy Derevyanchenko has previously appeared on a DAZN event.
Meanwhile, GGG and Canelo have both been linked with Munguia, though I feel that this would be a terrible opponent for both the Kazakh and the Mexican. So hopefully Jaime is simply being considered as a stand-by late-replacement opponent for both men.
Canelo is unlikely to face Callum Smith next, which is something the Brit has already conceded, but the Mexican was yesterday rumoured to be considering facing Demetrius Andrade in September, with a view to facing Kovalev in December.
So who knows what’s going to happen?

rumor: CANELO will fight GGG or KOVALEV next.---if KOVALEV,then GGG will fight MUNGUIA. DAZN seems to think that GGG & KOVALEV will get the most new subscribers. MUNGUIA will also bring many because he is mexican. GGG is offering to fight CANELO in either MSG or JERRY JONES STADIUM in DALLAS.---NOT vegas.

Drama is nice for the fight, not before is my takeaway. So bored with who he fights next. Stopped caring.

Oh oh. IBF threatening to lift Canelo's title unless he fights Derevyenchenko.
.
Maybe he'll do it on September 14. Or maybe he doesn't care.
He already lost his WBC crown when the sanctioning body instead appropriately honored Canelo as "The Franchise."
Maybe the IBF also has another newly created title in mind for Canelo if he opts to ignore Dereveyenchenko.
But Canelo has had so many belts in his career that he really doesn't mind vacating a few and lending them out to the needy and desperate..
Golovkin is probably waiting in line right now. Oh wait, he already avoided Derevyenchenko some time ago.

Canelo doesn't care much about IBF, but he definitely cares what his employer says, and his employer (i.e. who pays him money) is DAZN. DAZN says: pick between Golovkin and Kovalev.

I don't see DAZN ordering Golovkin to get into the ring with anyone more dangerous than Rolls.
So why would they make demands on its company star and risk GBP taking a walk from the company in a few years.
Nothing wrong with Andrade who is an unbeaten champion. If you don't care for his style, so what? Not everyone is a one dimensional slugger.
Plenty folks claim that they didn't care for Mayweather's style either, yet he is the most watched PPV fighter in history.
Talent trumps style. People will tune in to see a talented fighter no matter how he fights.

..at this point I believe Canelo has his orders from DAZN to box barring GGG either Kovalev or Andrade...

Fellow DAZN stablemate, the current WBA world light heavyweight champion and a fighter that has expressed a strong desire to face big-name opponents' at 168lbs, is Dmitry Bivol , who has offered to become Canelo's opponent for his September 14th fight-date.

DAZN is ordering Golovkin to fight Canelo who is slightly more dangerous than Rolls.
Regarding Andrade's "talent", you are very wrong. Fans don't want to see runners. Nobody wanted to see Rigo or Lara, so they are trying to change their styles to become more appealing. Ward couldn't draw. Mayweather became a huge draw due to multiple factors. First of all, he was an exciting fighter at lower weight and had victories (including the controversial one over Castillo) over well known Mexicans attracting the huge Mexican audience who started tuning up hoping to see him beaten. And of course he skillfully created other controversies and publicity boosters helping his popularity.

He won't. Too good and too young, so Canelo won't fight him.

Bivol needs some more pro seasoning before stepping into the ring with Canelo.
A little more name recognition wouldn't hurt his cause either. Kovalev, Munguia, Andrade are far more recognized than the colorless Bivol.
It's definitely in the cards for the future, but it needs a heavy dose of marination.
How 'bout those ESPY results last night.?The premiere award in sports deservedly goes to the Face of Boxing. I think that it triggers another bonus in Canelo's already record DAZN contract.
Felicidades, campeón.

Canelo is known the world over. Was just treated like royalty when he vacationed in Europe.
Biggest PPV star in boxing.
To deny his staggering impact and star power in the sport is to wallow in the muck of jealousy and envy.
Yes gentleman, the undisputed Face of Boxing.

I don't know that Andrade or Munguia are more recognized than Bivol, but Kovalev definitely is.
Andrade and Munguia have about the same level of recognition as him I'd think. Meaning that hardcore Boxing fans know those 3 guys, but nobody else does...hell that's probably the case with Kovalev too to be honest, but at least he's a more revered name at the moment in the fight fraternity.

Andrade is hard to care about. Even for Boxing fans. One of those kinda guys that often does enough to win, but never...and I mean NEVER looks exciting or spectacular.
Guys like that usually wind up losing a close decision or two, and then just kinda getting frozen out until they get old, and more beatable.
