Agree Cheese/Fitz/Fowler and Conway will all fight each other good few times.

I get that he was pissed off and emotional but if you slag your promoter as bent after hes paid you well he wont be rushing to do you another favour.

Cheeseman is sore, especially after squandering the last third of the match that costed him this fight; and I am still doubting Fitzgerald win on Fowler. Crying "robbery" while they almost had the nerve of gifting him a MD against the masterful Garcia.

I'm a Fitz fan and wanted him to win but I actually had this a round up to Cheese.

I don't think it required the reaction it did from Cheeseman but I did pick up on the Sky cameras he had been told something by Hearn that clearly upset him before the decision was called out.

I do question fight results these days, Fowler even said during the fight the Fitz fight does bigger numbers for him so you do wonder if judges are influenced. I also noted they had a Preston judge on the card, I know it should mean nothing but it did register in my mind.

Disappointed in Cheeseman’s reaction in truth . He should be very proud of his performance last night and accept he was judged to have lost what was without doubt a close and well contested fight.
He most certainly can come again .
I’d like him to fight Fowler with the winner getting a rematch .

No complaints Had the result gone the other way , Fitzgerald said as much post fight.
For me it was won in the Championship Rounds and that’s when Fitzgerald eventually made his mark and dominated to the end .
No robbery and no controversy.

Really enjoyed the fight and was surprised by the early boxing discipline exhibited by Cheeseman after previous gung-ho efforts, especially in defeat. The fact Sky pundits had it as close as a draw by the end having considered Chesseman well ahead at halfway says a lot about the way Fitz dominated the end of the fight. Personally, I didn't think Cheese did enough with scoring shots to win all the rounds some were crediting him with early on and I reckon some of that was down to surprise at his restraint and discipline while not giving Fitz enough credit for being the come forward aggressor.
Thought Eddie Hearn with his pro-Cheeseman comments post fight was disrespectful to Fitz after a cracking bout.

Yeh, just because he changed his style and box differently, doesn't automatically give him rounds. He still has to do enough to win the rounds too.. People fail to see that.

He just has to do more than the opponent, which he did for many rounds. He didn't end the fight strong though and lost probably 3 of the last 4. I had it a draw and felt could go either way within reason, though if had to pick a winner I'd give it to Cheese.

Overall they were basically right at each other's level, which if you go by Cheese-Garcia seems British atm.

Had it been a split decision there may have not been so much controversy.. Because it was Unanimous and not the closes margins, I don't think that helped.

I thought the Cheese did very well, adapted and for the most part kept himself well clear of his usual face forward style. I think he nicked the fight too.

I had DAZN on too. Boring commentary. No excitement or anything. They just casual talk. I remember at the end they had Fitz winning the rounds, but they believe Ted did more than enough to win the fight and thought the margins was too wide.

I wasn't actively scoring but to me it seemed Cheeseman was forced to change his style because he could hang with Fitz. He boxed well on the back foot but he was hardly Willie Pep. Fitz also wore him down and was getting to him in the later rounds. Can't see me rewatching and scoring it properly but i definitely feel the better man won.

Also don't think the trifecta of Fowler/Fitz/Cheeseman is going anywhere, doesn't feel to me like any of them will get past european level at best. Beefy Smith would make short work of them.

I had Cheeseman winning by 3 rounds but there were some tight rounds.

That's twice on the spin Ted's been unlucky. I thought the Kieran Conway decision was far worse. Ted clearly won that contest IMO.

As much as I feel Cheeseman has been unlucky in his last two, there are a few too many boxers who think they are judge and jury. They are not the ones awarding the decision and if a round is close and goes the other way it's clearly going to distort the tally being totted up in their own mind. Cheeseman is by no means alone, but might want to have a rethink about how bad that decision actually was.

Ted can still hold his head up high because he well and truly myth-busted the idea that Firzgerald was some sort of second coming of Ricky Hatton and would destroy Cheeseman. As I said there were some tight rounds but Scott was fortunate IMO.
