There is definitely more to it than shoulder injuries,i'm sure he would have realised that he wasn't up to it a while back but probably kept ignoring the signs.

Does seem suspicious that Bika has said nothing about the fight...

Makes me wonder if this was just all a publicity stunt for the Benn name / brand.

Suspect maybee a combination of this and poor ticket sales

It will be very interesting to see if people get their money back as I see it the show has got to happen as they carnt refund any money so they will chuck money at it to avoid paying any refunds

Gianluca is the best marketing guy the game has ever seen imo he’s convinced white collar boxes that they need to be licensed and gratefully accepts licence fees

He seemed like he was talking about his weight on Saturday on IFL - didn't seem to be an indication that he was pulling out.

Should have had that spar sooner. Should have had that spar before announcing the fight tbh.

This leaves a sour taste, especially for people that take Benn on his word.

All those demons Benn talked about and him needing redemption with this last one fight. Are we supposed to believe they are going to disappear now? - There is a point where no one can take a lot of notice of what he says (ala Dave Allen)

He's supposedly been training like a beast, even his own kids said the same, making comments such as there is no other 55 year old like him. I find it odd that his shoulders haven't played up well before now.

Wish him well obviously, loved watching Benn when he was up for it. I suspect he's had a hard spar and thought fk this. Can't blame him to be fair, but probably should have done it before he committed to announcing his return.

A decent amateur who had a long stretch in jail and can't get a license until his sentence is spent. Therefore he is doing the white collar thing

Assuming your talking about Jacob's boxrec record? Hes down as 1 and 0 as boxrec recognised that bout which was a Malta boxing commission sanctioned show, since the MBC restructured as BIBA ,boxrec wont/dont recognise the bouts now.
