Re: Jeff Horn vs. Tim Tszyu - August 26, 2020
Notes: Horn arrived at the weigh-in late.
Things heated up when Horn’s trainer Glenn Rushton told reporters that there are conflicts of interest involving two of the judges and Tszyu. Rushton alleged that Tszyu trained at a gym owned by judge Chris Condon, whom Rushton claimed was formerly a cornerman for Tim’s father Kostya Tszyu. Rushton also alleged that judge Phil Holiday has been heard saying Tszyu will win on cuts. Both judges will still be working the fight as of now.

Geezes, the judge guessing he will win on cuts isnt great but dosent matter heaps, cause judges dont realy get to determine that. but the gym owner, Dads corner-man judge is outragouse, thats so far from impartial. I might have a bet on horn by KO or tzu by points after hearing that shit.
Re: Jeff Horn vs. Tim Tszyu - August 26, 2020
Aus boxing wants Tim to succeed. Horn is finished on the world level. Horn though has incredible heart and is a scrapper. I’m really not sold on Tim, I don’t think he’s fought anyone that has come to fight. Who knows.gregregegg wrote: ↑25 Aug 2020, 05:03 Geezes, the judge guessing he will win on cuts isnt great but dosent matter heaps, cause judges dont realy get to determine that. but the gym owner, Dads corner-man judge is outragouse, thats so far from impartial. Ya agree, both very questionable, obviously the one dude has a personal link, and any time a judge says an opinion about who wins, you gotta wonder if they are gonna be judging in a way to keep consistent with that. I think judges should always keep quiet about predictions, though tbf Holiday coulda been in private, it doesnt really specifiy
Is that the former champ phil holiday btw, or some other cat

Never seen Tim fight before. Do people think this is too big a step up for him too soon? Or is he the favorite?
I'll probably try to avoid the result and watch the replay tomorrow evening.

Re: Jeff Horn vs. Tim Tszyu - August 26, 2020
Horn could have another little run at 154 i think. Work his way up WBO or IBF (both ranked in WBO and tim highly ranked in IBF) IBF is about to be all tied up into a 3way, witch will almost certanly mean 1 of them is getting dropped in the next 2 years. WBO has a pretty weak champion. So if he can stay top 5-2ish, he might get an ellminator or a vacant shot vs someone average. Gotta win this first, but fuk it should at least be fair.lazboy wrote: ↑25 Aug 2020, 06:19Aus boxing wants Tim to succeed. Horn is finished on the world level. Horn is no p4p but a contreversial win over pac, and lasting 9 vs craw, isnt bad. then jumping up to0 far to 160 and going 1-1, no shame in that. wont beat the best at 154, but you dont always have to beat the best to win a belt..... (like Haney @135).

Re: Jeff Horn vs. Tim Tszyu - August 26, 2020
Glad I’m not paying for this...below average fight with an opponent who looks like he’s been boxing for a year.
Next up it’s horn brother Ben horn. I’ve seen him fight once before and he was terrible.

Camilleri dealed with Copland wothout any problems. Copland was slow on his feet, hesitant. Camilleri moved well and scored.

This girl fight is far better than the fight before it. Surprised at how skilled the lady who’s winning is. The blonde lady without the lesbian cut.

Stoppage! The girls keep proving Thatcher wrong!
Re: Jeff Horn vs. Tim Tszyu - August 26, 2020
O'Connell was winning handily, but the stoppage still was a bit premature. Nothing too ingenious in O'Connell's game though, just bullied a lesser class chick.

Live Updates
Jeff Horn's brother Ben secured an early boost for the family by beating Patrick Clark in their welterweight clash on the undercard. He scored his second win in four professional fights as the judges awarded him a unanimous points victory 40-36, 40-36, 39-37.
Jeff's trainer Glenn Rushton also looks after Ben, so the entire team had a reason to smile before tonight's main course.

Apparently, they still have not decided who is walking out first.
Best way to decide is..
Horn comes out first, but announced last or vice versa..
