Maybe, chisora is up there.
If i look at his actual wins there is nobody that luis ortiz doesnt smash to bits
I don't disagree, his record is crap. His best result is the loss to Lewis.

1 vs Arreola
4 vs Chis
2 vs Len
1 vs Cor
2 vs Byrd
1 vs Hide

I have him losing 11 rounds of his fights I've seen

His best win is maybe Sam Peter or something lol

Because nobody knows how it would end. Prime Vitali would have been difficult for anyone, so I don’t see how you’re so confident Fury would easily beat him.
Everyone was saying similar stuff before Fury-Wlad and even Fury-Wilder.

Vitali was an inconvenient oppopnent for many, but he was quite limited in comparison to Fury. The Gypsy King is a unique boxer. He got two his biggest scalps in a one-sided fashion.
Dude. Know your shit. Wlad was past his prime, he looked awful in the Jennings fight and the fact that he couldn’t finish AJ is also paramount.

Credit to a Fury, who has stated Wlad is his biggest win. Wilder is a limited boxer, an accident waiting to happen.

Fury v Wlad wasn’t one-sided. It was an awful fight that Fury clearly won but only by a few rounds.

If Fury beats AJ, he’ll will have beaten a very good boxer in his prime and will be cemented as the best of the generation after the Klitschkos.

It’s really silly to state one boxer from another era easily beats another - it’s not comparable.

I know he dominated the cans he fought, but Lewis won 2 or three; Chis won 2 or three; Herbie Hyde one the first round before getting blown out. Byrd? I admit he lost very low % of the rounds he fought, but 5 sounds a bit off.
Sanders probably took a round of him, the del boy cards were 119 & 118. I think all judges had him 4-2 vs Lennox. I get people don't like his resume but it was a weak era & like i said, he hardly lost more than a handful of rounds.
Agreed. Plus never been floored. A utterly dominant HW.

If he beats AJ, he is up there with Lewis and the Klitschko’s in terms as the dominant HWs of there generation.

It’s impossible to compare era’s, so don’t.
He's already much more dominant and accomplished than vitali. I know you love him but he is lucky to rate over wilder.
Probably better wins, but more dominant. No! Vitali was unfortunate that Lewis retired and the only other career defining fight was with his brother.

He was unfortunate he got the shit kicked out of him and couldn't handle the pain in another.

If we’re talking post 1980’s heavies.... prime Larry Holmes “schools” all these chumps except LL, and THAT would be an intriguing fight, really, really interesting. For that matter, interested and motivated Riddick Bowe would be in the same boat, granted, he doesn’t REALLY deserve the consideration. Prime Evander Holyfield before the “brain damage/can’t let hands go” syndrome took over prolly beats all not including LL. Interesting that Tyson Fury is the first heavyweight since prime Wladimir to spark/merit these kinds of comparisons. :TU:

Although more limited than his brother he was made much tougher. And had less doubt in his mind.

I think Fury stays on his toes in this one and makes Vitali follow him around the ring.
Fury would handle Vitali confidently. Vitali was majorly dependant on his range, jabs and one-twos. Fury is better in fighting on the distance, cause he's faster and more elusive. And inside he is just much more better, than Vitali.
Fury shouldn't be at range against Vitali, he'd get lit up. Best bet would be to play rough on the inside and open up cuts. Vitali could fight going backwards though, with short hooks. Just an awkward guy to fight. Wlad was much more basic.

Vitali was an underrated fighter, awkward as hell and tough as they come. Limited skills, but effective, a handfull for all but the most skilled

Underrated in the UK only. Read some pretty goofy shit like "Haye beats Vitali cos Solis did good for half a round and probably took a dive.".

At this point I can't say he's better than Lennox.
That said I don't think I have been more wrong about a boxer when it comes to Tyson Fury.
He's proved me wrong time and time again I have to admit it, all respect to the guy I underestimated him.
Last Saturday he was off the charts, it was an amazing performance.

Man, those eras are neighbouring. A one is right near the other one. How it can be relevant in this context?

Talking about Wlad bout, Fury did beat Wlad in a one-sided fashion. Wlad objectively won a few rounds. And even if he was past it, it wasn't a significant decline at all. He was in a good shape even in his next fight despite the fact of also losing it. And he beat Jennings handily. People are starting to underrate this win of Fury.

Vitali is not better than Lewis (Lewis beat him)
Wlad is not better than Fury (Fury beat him)
Wilder is not better than Fury ( Fury beat him, twice)
Joshua is currently less than Fury because he lost and Fury didn't.
As far as Fury vs Ali, Lewis, Iron Mike, Vitali etc. who knows.
Personally I think:
Lewis
Ali
Tyson
Fury
(Guys like Louis, Marciano, etc were too small to compete effectively).
And everybody is capable of being beat on any given day.

Holyfield is right under Fury only due to size. Holy did great while being an undersized heavyweight.
I don't think he ever would have beat Lewis for instance.
