WBO#6 Jr-Middleweight Wayne Alexander (22-2) is expected to defend his WBU title at the MEN Arena in Manchester on February 11th. Rumoured opponents are former British Champion Jamie Moore and unbeaten prospect Thomas McDonagh who is 25-0-2. Sports Network will confirm full details of the show at a press conference at the Midland Hotel, Manchester on Tuesday. The bill will be headlined with WBO 168 pound champion Joe Calzaghe.

I think I saw a small article in the News of The World today saying that Calzaghe has hand/back probs and his next defence will be delayed. :(

Yeah to be fair Blue we are always moaning about his lack of competition ourselves...just check some of the earlier posts on this very thread for examples of that. Calzaghe has become a fighter content with easy money defences while whining for his "Big Fight" yet is unwilling to travel to wherever to make it happen. He instead thinks the big boys are going to come and fight in his backyard on his terms and it aint gonna happen :roll:
