it's not a fight-it's an exhibition. Shame on those who pay to see this if they feel cheated or disappointed when it's over.
It’s been reported by the media that the exhibition will be stopped if either fighter gets cut or one of them attempts to score a KO (as per the CSAC licensing rules).
It doesn't answer my question but it does give me a lot of good information. Actually I found all that info after my above post and before I read your accurate description. A ridiculous buy without a good undercard.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑26 Jul 2020, 03:39It’s been reported by the media that the exhibition will be stopped if either fighter gets cut or one of them attempts to score a KO (as per the CSAC licensing rules).
And there’s no judges either, so no winner will be declared at the end of their sparring session, since no officials will be scoring each round.
So I guess that answers your question.
I can see both guys losing their tempers, but it would be stopped right away. Can't see the allure of this at all.Tony1244 wrote: ↑26 Jul 2020, 10:14It doesn't answer my question but it does give me a lot of good information. No one can answer the question because a melee could still occur.
I'd watch it for free if I was already getting the station, but pay for it? Hell no.oogiebe wrote: ↑26 Jul 2020, 12:27I can see both guys losing their tempers, but it would be stopped right away. You’re absolutely right, someone could potentially snap and break the rules.Tony1244 wrote: ↑26 Jul 2020, 10:14It doesn't answer my question but it does give me a lot of good information. However, if you’re sparring someone who isn’t trying to hurt you and won’t be deemed as being the “winner” at the end of the spar, then what does either man have to lose?
Why would someone completely snap and lose control, when they literally have no reason to worry about being “hurt” or “losing”?
You might be reading too much into things. I don’t think either man are treating this as anything but a public friendly sparring session, without inflicting pain on their opponent.
For real.

Doesn't work on Punch Out. You can land 10 or 20 punches, but if he lands 1 it's your asslazboy wrote: ↑27 Jul 2020, 18:19margaret thatcher wrote: ↑27 Jul 2020, 09:37 Well it only makes sense that since he couldnt make it past 6 with Kev McBride 15 years ago that he would be the undisputed champ today![]()
Exactly! The great Kevin McBride laid down the blueprint on how to defeat Tyson. All you need to do is hit him more times than he hits you. I’m not sure if someone like AJ has the skills to follow the blueprint but the blueprint is available and gives him a huge advantage.
And he magically holds a win over Tyson.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑27 Jul 2020, 18:45 Kev McBride might be the only guy alive slower than Joe Joyce
And pads don't hit back....they are there to be hit too.

Roy Jones would toy with Tyson.Syntax Error wrote: ↑27 Jul 2020, 09:33For real.
Mike Tyson would not make it to round 2 against any of the current HW top dogs; even the next tier guys like Ruiz & Parker would tear him a new one.

Yes, because Roy has borrowed the blue print from Kevin McBride.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑27 Jul 2020, 19:12Roy Jones would toy with Tyson.Syntax Error wrote: ↑27 Jul 2020, 09:33For real.
