He have Kow a good fight. But those types of fights are just damaging long term.

This fight won’t suck, but it’s pretty predictable. Ruiz by Ko easy if he’s in shape. KO late if he’s not. Can’t see Arreola winning this as awesome as that would be.

I rate ruiz, but normaly he is tubby but not too much so is still very effective, gave parker a good fight, scrambled AJs brain, has been boxing best part of 20 years. my point is that if your last fight you came in in terrible shape, and got beaten easily as a result, then for me at least, it hurts your apeal for your next fight to be a PPV tune up...
Everything's relative, people are harsh on elites if they dont live up to there ability, dosent mean they think they can beat them. If usain bolt turned up to the olympics with a beer in one hand, ciggy in the other, and ran a 10.7 id say that was fornicating horrible, dosent mean i think im running sub 11 anytime soon...

The point was that Joshua was not on the legacy wagon, a true warrior would have pushed for an immediate trilogy fight.

You make good points regarding Fury vs AJ but an undefeated AJ would be showing less interest trying to play himself off as some Aside to get a bigger slice of the pie.

FOX’s upcoming April 24 pay-per-view, headlined by Andy Ruiz Jr vs Chris Arreola, appears to be coming together. The last two days have seen Mike Coppinger reveal a pair of matchups that figure to be plenty entertaining, if not particularly heavy on name value: Omar Figueroa Jr vs Abel Ramos and Jesus Ramos vs Javier Molina.

Figueroa (28-1-1, 19 KOs) has seen a promising career fizzle out due to inactivity, regularly missing weight, and issues outside of the ring. He nonetheless kept an undefeated record intact until July 2019, when Yordenis Ugas ran roughshod over him on the Pacquiao-Thurman undercard. He hasn’t fought since and will be in tough against Ramos (26-4-2, 20 KOs), who’s only ever lost to quality opposition and scored an impressive come-from-behind knockout of Bryant Perrella last year.

Abel’s nephew Jesus Ramos (15-0, 14 KOs) is a highly promising and highly entertaining 19-year-old who’s ended all of his fights inside four rounds and was last seen knocking out Jesus Emilio Bojorquez on last Saturday’s Anthony Dirrell-Kyrone Davis card. He faces a genuine test in Molina (22-3, 9 KOs), who’d beaten the capable Hiroki Okada and Amir Imam before last September’s loss to Jose Pedraza.

Genuinely good matchmaking for a FOX card. For a PPV card? You’ll have to do better than that.

Lara will be the main event of the lead in to the PPV on FOX.

The thing is, if they CAN get any good fight, it would likely be better than the main event..
