morell looks really good, and they are moving him with a lot of confidence. im guessing theyve been seeing good things in the gym to go along with the fights

but its pretty silly that they still pull out these fake amateur records, when someone can just go on boxrec and see that morrell has at least 5 amateur losses on a record that doesnt even have all his fights listed

And while your watching him on the Kambossis Haney card, keep an eye out for David Nyika, NZ cruiserweight. Commonwealth gold medalist, and 6'6" with the reach of an extinct giant eagle. Good footwork, nice jab from range and we are yet to see him adapt to the pro game, so one to keep an eye on.

Elnur Abdurainmov - super feather weight, 9 - 0 (8 KOs). Saw him fight live on the Canelo - Bivol undercard. Punishing puncher with nice control of the pocket and distance. His ring movement and punishing style reminded me of GGG when I first saw GGG fight at Turning Stone back in 2012. At that 2012 GGG bout (vs Proksa) I said to my self "who is this guy? I had the same "who is this guy" thought when watching Abdurainmov. Looking forward to watch this kid work his way in to the mix, he is currently ranked 48th in super feather weight according to BoxRec.

These Australian guys might not all be unknown, but there worth watching just because they seem to be moving at a good pace. Refreshing to see people having meaningful fights so soon.

-Justice Huni-heavyweight- very young, Only had 6 fights, 5 of them schedualed for 10 rounds for the Australian title vs tough guys. Huni has fast enough hands to give anyone some problems, very simular to a young joe parker... Is suposidly in negotiations with Briedis for a heavyweight fight this year (too big a step up in my opinion but shows the mindset).

-Harry Garside-lightweight- Only had 3 fights, 2 were booked for 10 rounders for the Australian title. Got a decent fight booked in soon. fast hands, good technique, probably lacks power though.

-Paulo Aokuso-light heavyweight- only had 2 fights, booked for 8 and 10 rounds, but stopped them well. looked good doing so, has a solid step up booked October (boxrec top 30 in his 3rd pro fight). looks fan friendly, and although i havent seen enough to be certain on him his handelers seem confident.

Lesser guys doning some good.

-Austin Aokuso- cruiser weight- young, 4-0 southpaw out of aus. got a ways to go.

-Toese Vousiutu- 4-0 all round 1 KOs. raw but whacks.

-Jack bowen- 7-0 all by KO, seems decent

-hone Huni- Should get dragged along by his brothers name if justice sucseeds.

-Nikita Tszyu- headlined a PPV 3rd fight. very raw, but will get every chance with his name.

anyone seen this jerome pampellone fellow , kiwi lhw prospect, just blew out moise augmatani jr (who had gone 10 with dave light at cruiser) in a minute. had good amateur career (made the best 8 at the world championship) and winning dominantly on domestic scene so far

Like this post. Very unknown very new… interesting to see how it plays out.

like the pre bookings too. Hard to say how good he is plus hard path as a Colombian Canadian… not your big USA/Uk or even Mex/aus prospect hype .

Hopfuly someone is invested in him, and pays for the fights he needs early cause it’s probably an expensive 2 years befor you get a guy like this making any money.

his promoter is very succesful in canada, same canadian team that beterbiev, makmudov, and mbili have. and that dave lemieux and eledier alvarez had. he's in pretty good hands, although if he becomes big enough he'll need to hook up with some bigger international promoters, his promoter has done co -promotional deals with top rank and golden boy before. that could still be a long way off though

love the activity, on track for 10 fights in a little over a year, if youre blowing everyone out at this level why not

It’s a big enough promoter, still has to chose to lose money on him short term to make it long term. Which isn’t an easy choice if you don’t have someone locked up for a long time. (I don’t know the contract obviously)

Shame he has just come to late to jump on Bert’s and maks undercards. Feel that ship has probably sailed.

gradus had a good amateur career and missed the olympics by just a hair, losing a very close one in the decisive qualifying match. he was a silver medalist in the euro championships as well, and in iba boxing he has a win over two time gold medalist arlen lopez, as well as a stoppage of euro champ- gab veojic.

he is much bigger than his dad and debuted at light heavy. he is an aggressive, very fit guy who breaks opponents with pressure and strength.
