Even the odd video of Lovejoy he looks rotten....1 winning record from 19 fights and that guys never won again since....he’s 320lb....he’ll come swinging but Allen is durable and probably outlasts him.
I’d expect Jamie Moore will have Allen fit and ready.

Dave Allen SHOULD win. But looking at this Lovejoy character, he could come and spoil and it could become an absolute snooze fest.
I just hope Allen fancies it and dispatches Lovejoy in the early rounds.
As for the #15 rating with the WBA, we're either really struggling with decent heavyweights to make up a top 15 or the WBA really are crackers and should lose their recognition the world over!

I haven't seen anything from Lovejoy, except the bout posted above and some videos from the gym, but he looks like just a lubber with decent punch. Allen can outfight him with his experience and toughness. Allen can bang too. I'm expecting Dave to stop Lovejoy in about 5 rounds.

And ever since Buck Smith came over from his padded fighting career in the sticks of Oklahoma and KO'd Kirkland Laing even though he never had an amateur career and Kirk was on the cusp of a world title fight - I don't take any of these mugs for granted.

1st round knockout win for Allen.
Allen is very, very limited but Lovejoy is absolute trash. A fat, old never was who shouldn’t be close to being on TV far in less PPV. Embarrassing that the WBA have sanctioned him as top 15 and embarrassing that Matchroom and Sky have him on PPV

Forgot about HEAVYWEIGHTSSSSSSS 1 punch can change it all.... I just gotta put on 5 or 6 KGs and im a heavyweight. Cant wait to be able to knock anyone in the world spark out with one punch. even though i have brittle hands and wrists and can't punch, dosent mater if ya Heavyweight. Fury better not be running his mouth or ill chin him cause ill be HEAVYWEIGHT......

Are you a heavyweight boxer? That's interesting, if you are, you stand a chance, one punch etc - if you are just someone who weighs more than 14 st 4lbs then you're not and it doesn't sound like you are with all your self-confessed ailments.

It turns out Lovejoy has a promotional deal with Don King that he didn’t tell anyone about.
Unsurprisingly King has left it until very late in the day to make it known so is holding Matchroom and Lovejoy to ransom.

This is how I see it as well. King will let this happen but he will get what he wants from it

The head tells me Dave Allen’s in unbelievable shape for the first time since the Lenroy Thomas rematch.
The head also tells me Allen is a guy capable of struggling and almost getting beat by obscure Argentinians but a few months later he comes and knocks Lucas Browne out for the count with a body shot.
Therefore the head tells me leave this one out when betting this weekend.

Typical Don King shit housing, did Papa Hearn not teach lil Hearn about the devil? And how no one has anything to do with him?
He will be asking for a nice chunk o change, options, and this that and the other, or he pulls one of the main support bouts at 48 hours notice. Surely not enough time with Covid bubble to get a replacement....
What a dick... What an old skool genius, could have imagined a number of other promoters playing their hand too soon. Not Don, Don has timed this like a pro. The experience of shafting people for decades has shone it's self.
