Too be honest , at first i thought Hearn was the best thing to happen to british boxing in years , but now he's just a smooth talking car salesman , who thinks he can rule the boxing world and take over globaly , his ego is out of control and he's turning British boxing into a WWF type circus , and whats more the british are lapping it up , thank fook you still have the likes of Cheeseman to give you entertaining fights ,,, When will it stop , thats easy ,, has soon has you all stop paying to see the crap .

he made an excellent point which i didn't realise, how the hell did they get a vancant world title fight when they are both low in the rankings well its a bit obvious but you know what i mean

It's actually worth watching the face off video if you can stand the cringe factor. Courtenay looks and acts exactly how I imagine a young Pat Butcher would - rude, aggressive, prematurely ageing, dismissive, spiteful...... though I actually laughed when she rolls her eyes and arches her eyebrows whilst Bridges was talking about how 'Aussie' she is...then she checks the time on her watch to show how bored she is. She comes across as a right see you next Tuesday.

Fcuk me. Hadnt realised it was actually a world title fight . Combined record of 11-1 and they are fighting for the WBA title .
Eddie has sank to new lows as have all of the fans getting hypnotised by a pair of tits and a fake tan .
Herol Graham, Sam Langford , Michael Watson never got to call themselves world champion and yet tonight one of those women will .
This is not women bashing.. there are some great female fighters, but none of them are fighting for the WBA Bantamweight title tonight.
And the fact that sky do a face to face for the match up ... disgraceful... it’s no better than the YouTube celeb match ups
Everyone who has watched that face to face video linked above is feeding the demand for this crap .

Its Womens boxing which is in its infancy and still has a long way to go in order to catch up with the Mens Boxing in terms of TV coverage / income etc so I dont begrudge the opportunities coming early .

It’s a fckin abysmal spectacle this. Women’s boxing is dreadful. They don’t make good boxers that’s just how it is. Does anyone know if Bridges is any good? Hope she sparks Courtney out.

Didnt expect much, but honestly im 3 rounds into the courtny vs bridges and its a bit of a tear up. 2 girls swining hard, just skilled enough to punch, not skilled enough to defend, makes a fun fight. Way more even than i thought. You can hate the levle they are at being in a world champ fight, but hard to hate the fight on its merits of entertainment.

I’m all for it, if they wanna box good luck to em it takes a lot of bottle.
But don’t foist it on boxing fans who want to watch men box in quality fights between skilled operators who’ve risen to the top of a deep pool of talent.

I’d love to see a big hefty wench take the women’s HW division by the balls. A female butterbean, like the farmers daughters you see out in the pubs in rural Wales on the weekend. 6ft 2, 280lbs, sporting a womens style moustache and teeth like a witch doctors necklace.
