Is anyone else not really arsed about this fight?
Seems highly regarded. Although i dont care if you have won 2 Olympic gold medals im not putting you from very weak 4 rounders to an 8 rounder with Soko....margaret thatcher wrote: ↑22 Nov 2021, 04:05 aanyone know much about george fox? 4-0 and fighting soko in 8 rounder
He's Don Charles's son and been sparring the very top pros all his life.gregregegg wrote: ↑22 Nov 2021, 05:31Seems highly regarded. also last fight he was heavy looking at boxrec, wanna lose a bit of that befor an 8 rounder.
I like it for the statement, but makes it so hard to progress. Idealy you want 2 years of fighting a 4 or 6 rounder every 6 weeks, then a Soko. If you fight Soko in an 8 rounder now, you either have to commit to tough fights, meaning you just cant do them every 6 weeks or so... or move backwards, which is always a bit of a why bother move.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑25 Nov 2021, 00:54 vs a covering up journeyman
nice quick hands, especially for a big big boi. decent bounce to his step. but a bit clumsy at times ....kinda throws the jab funny, and also seems lacking in power so far as has 0 kds or stops. overall looked decent enough though, better than your typical 4-0 #400 guy. looking forward to the soko fight.
seems like a bit of do or die, youre 29 so show us you've got it matchmaking
I don't know where he gets it from. He has a very level headed trainer.ShadrachSimmo wrote: ↑29 Nov 2021, 18:26Yup. If he can use his right hand this time should be comfortable. Yarde for some reason thinks he’s a lot better than he is.
Ian John Lewis had Yarde by 5 in the last fight let’s hope he’s not involved again.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑29 Nov 2021, 23:07 i dunno, maybe just sticking to his left was the way to go? negative but neutralizing?
if he throws his right much more and starts getting confident with him, maybe thats the opening the yarde needs.
if you think arthur wins easy, let's convince ourselves of this, and expect a hell of a fight![]()
Arthur did shrug it off and say IJL is known for doing things like that.ShadrachSimmo wrote: ↑01 Dec 2021, 06:01Ian John Lewis had Yarde by 5 in the last fight let’s hope he’s not involved again.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑29 Nov 2021, 23:07 i dunno, maybe just sticking to his left was the way to go? negative but neutralizing?

I know what you mean, but personally I see Ryder as a small Super Middleweight.gregregegg wrote: ↑30 Nov 2021, 19:15 Fuk I wish the rest of the uk domestic 175s would get involved and fight each other. It’s the best uk division by far right now I think. Yarde, aurthur, buatsy, cal smith, cal Johnson, craig Richards, John Ryder( mabey) sure I’ve forgotten a couple. Could match them any way you want and they are all fun fights. I would be keen for litraly any combination of those names.
Imagine buatsi vs winner of yarde and aurther
Cal smith vs cal Johnson
Craig Richards vs Ryder.
Pitters vs loser of yard and Arthur.
4 absolute cracking light heavy fights.
Small gap between super middle and light heavy. Think he would be ok, but yea probably not his division. There was talk of him fighting Bivol but he is probably willing to take the gamble there because if he wins he gets canelo cash….stujones wrote: ↑01 Dec 2021, 09:31I know what you mean, but personally I see Ryder as a small Super Middleweight.gregregegg wrote: ↑30 Nov 2021, 19:15 Fuk I wish the rest of the uk domestic 175s would get involved and fight each other.
