When does ur monthly payments go out?
I always thought, well Eddie used to say it, that Whyte does not have a long term deal with Eddie - its fight by fight, so yes I guess he is mulling of options.Twinkle Toes wrote: ↑31 Aug 2021, 14:39 Interesting.
You know another fighter who's next fight seems to be taking an age to be announced (a bit like Hughie)
Dillian Whyte.
I just wonder if SKY are looking to entice him, and continue showcasing him on those big PPV paydays that Whyte clearly loves. He manages a chunk of fighters too.
They need a big name.
And to maximise his own purse, he may choose SKY PPV. Cut Eddie out and sign a fight by fight deal with Boxxer.stujones wrote: ↑31 Aug 2021, 18:17I always thought, well Eddie used to say it, that Whyte does not have a long term deal with Eddie - its fight by fight, so yes I guess he is mulling of options.Twinkle Toes wrote: ↑31 Aug 2021, 14:39 Interesting.

The promoters have forgotten what makes a boxing card good. It isn't undefeated vs tomato can, it isn't warm up fights, it isn't all about the main event, and it isn't even about the belts. Its about close, evenly matched fights, one after another, making a good night out or a session at home that doesn't involve fast forwarding through a bunch of tosh to get to the one "maybe" good fight on a whole card.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑31 Aug 2021, 07:12 Boxing is a niche sport.
It's all about fights and demand, if it's fight no one cares for, then no one will watch it.
It needs to be on a sub or a cable tv channel, not on an app. especially when the app hasn't got anything else other than sport.
I've said it many times, 95% of customers that have/had a sky sports subscription haven't got it for the boxing. It's for other sports, mainly Football. So Boxing is/was considered an add-on really.
It's really the same for BT as well.
Who knows.. Things might improve. Hearn might have a lot of fights already planned, but he needs to get them announced soon.
The Italian/Spanish DAZN cards are not gonna cut it.
I don't remember. But I'm guessing I'll cancel my subs after Saturday.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑31 Aug 2021, 15:23When does ur monthly payments go out?
Mine to out on 17th, the DAZN email said the change is from 29th Sept.
So I get the Smith-Fowler card for £1.99 as well. That’s on 9th Oct.
