George Scott knocked out an old Anders Eklund.

I was at Rhodes. All the doormen there (in Faliraki) were only built up on weight training. A brit with some boxing experience punched them all out one night.

Mind you, fighting on the streets is too big a risk of anything bad happening....

Just peace and love for me :TU:
Seriously? What is the Swedish beef story?

I dont know how much beef they had.
An old Eklund bullied a bit with George, and got knocked through a window :bag:

I saw his fight with Shaun Cogan from ringside. He then went off for a shower and came back and sat in front of me for the rest of the show. Like nothing happened.
Yes, Chris Sanigar and I watched Panayi fight in Stoke and you could see that he would be tasty in the street.

Chris once got into a brawl right outside the old Boxing News office at Langham Street. Harry Mullan and Tim Mo tried to stop it but Chris, who was heavily outweighed, finished the job without much fuss.

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned Paul Sykes yet (unless I missed it).

I don't think so, he'd be too cool to put his mitts up in a bar. He'd only fight in front of a big crowd.

It really is about levels is'nt it , fighting sports have weights to stop good little ens , getting hurt by good big ens ,, and profesional fighters at least 9 out of 10 times are always going to have the fitness and knoledge over the guys who are sort of self taught , and even then theres variables . Good days bad days , really just be a nice person , , but smash bullies , i hate them   .

I agree but I doubt he was much of a street fighter. Just a big bloke with a reputation.

I think he would be too much for the vast majority of people who fancy themselves... same as your mate, Mark Bennett - who's going to call him out to the back of the car park?

I think he would’ve flattened most people, he was a big lump who knew how to fight and was fit with it, plus he was mental 🤣
