So if I was Mike tyson right now I'd be thinking of getting in the ring with holyfield. As for vitor belfort he is a piece of shìt for going for it like that.
I have paid no attention to this crap since it was announced and assumed it would be an exibition like Tyson v Jones Jr.Everyone involved including the commentators should be ashamed and never be involved in boxing again,I've said it before, someone will get killed if they keep up with this shite.
Exactly what I was thinking when I seen not even a shell of evander in that ring,Shawn porter was the commentator,I didn't wait up for this btw I just seen highlights on youtube cause there was nothing on when I got in from work lol.
When someone gets seriously hurt they will all call for boxing to be banned.

I just watched the Holyfield match up on Youtube ... sad that such a great former champion is putting himself through what he is. I hope he is kept away from a Tyson matchup. Holyfield is body beautiful for 60 .. but he is frail now too.

I’d imagine Holyfield has a TRT doctor legally prescribing both testosterone and steroids. Quite common practice in America with celebrities. Don’t even have to break the law.

Belfort and Triller offered Jake Paul $30m winner takes all.
Yeh ryt.. just using his name.
Paul signed a multi fight deal with Showtime..
He probably never wants to work with Triller again.

Yes. And Holyfield was an extremely dirty fighter. His third glove won him many fights

Most of us regard the Bowe era as Holyfield's prime, but when do we think he started sliding?
For me it was between Tyson and Lewis, became clear against Ruiz and Byrd, before Toney — as good as he was — put it beyond doubt.

Holyfield was an sight to behold in his prime....a mix of pure boxing ability and bravery...Just a sad state of affairs that he even contemplated this nonsense.

Nothing much to add to what has already been said. An absolute travesty that this went ahead, and Evander was lucky not to have been seriously hurt. It probably went about as well as it could have for him, as he got his money and didn't take any serious punishment, but it could have easily gone so very wrong. I genuinely hope Triller go under.
This Vitor Belfort guy seems like a thoroughly unpleasant first-rate prick, as well, the way he ripped into Holyfield, seemingly with the intention of hurting him more than he needed to, despite it being an exhibition, and his excessive celebrating.
I see a lot of people on Facebook talking about how lucky Holyfield was for not being in there with Mike Tyson. But unlike Belfort, I think Mike would have had enough class and respect for Evander to carry him and treat the event as the exhibition it was.

I'm not so sure. Mike Tyson has a crazy glint in his eyes that age hath not dulled. Unpredictable bugger, don't let age fool you. I predict Tyson would launch bombs if given the chance.

According to the Florida State Boxing Commission, all of the bouts that happened at the Triller event were conducted as exhibitions rather than professional fights.
“The fights Saturday were conducted as exhibitions,” a spokesperson from the commission told MMA Fighting on Monday. “The records will not count and will not be official.”

These are random tweets. Not just bad tweets.
I guess there isn’t anyone who thought it was a good idea.
For most active pro’s now, Holyfield is old enough to be their dad..

A lot of people are giving Belfort stick for not holding back - I have to disagree - this wasn't a spar..... if it was discussed between the two before hand then yes Belfort deserves stick, but its a dangerous sport that shouldn't be played about with and in terms of his health, it might have been better for Holyfield for a quick KO than Belfort keeping him up.
One thing is for certain, Holyfield wouldn't have held back.

I don’t hold anything against Belfort for it. It annoyed the hell out of me though seeing Ryan Kavanagh loving Vitor off post fight. He was probably glad Holyfield lost as he had a claim against him not delivering an agreed fight so probably took it as being some sort of revenge.
The quicker Kavanagh is out of boxing the better.
