Inoue was like a robot. If he wasn't that tough, the fight would have been a blowout like against all those horns, morgans and hogans. And if there were 60 rounds instead of 12, Tszyu would either break both his hands or fall down in exhaustion.

I am just mid fight. Going as expected; a very good heavy bag workout for Tszyu. That is all.

Ok, that is it for me. Inoue is one tough dude but he has nothing offensively to threaten Tszyu. I can finish it at a sane hour.

Tszyu passes the eye test for me. Not sure that he can beat the best at 154 currently or the monsters lurking at welter, but he appears to have the arsenal, defense and stamina to compete with any of them.

Time to step it up and prove it.

Exactly. Tszyu gotta fight Charlo or Castano, if those don't have a rematch. If not, then Kurbanov after Kurbanov wins Teixeira. Other bouts won't be close.

Scores were 119-108, 120-107 and 120-107 in favor of Tszyu, who was credited with a final round knockdown but forced to go the 12-round distance for the first time in his career.

That right uppercut from Tim is a peach, hard to see it coming, fired at the waist, and pretty accurate.
I would have expected Tim to devastate Inoue given his reputation for power and how often he landed flush. Credit to Inoue, one tough, if limited bugger.

I just don't see 'world champ' just yet, or contender.

Tim tszyu has an interesting style, Almost like an elite plodder at times, it kind of reminds me of GGG when he is getting cocky, but less jab heavy and less scary. Amazing punch selection, Lots of upper cuts both left and right, Hard clubbing left hook, good 1-2, Good lead right, thudding looping right around the gauard and at times a solid jab. Started to pepper the body too eventualy. Hard night for anyone.

Hope he gets the Charlo fight. Castano 1000% deserves the rematch, but id like Tim to jump ahead of him. (if the rematch gets made Tszyu should fight zerafa, Sure he is above it, but i feel its unfinished buisness).

I must say, given his resume, that seems a bit rich. Maybe the division is a bit weak at the moment.
Charlo would be good, I would hope a wee step up before that. I didn't see anything in Inoue other than durability to prepare him for Charlo

Agree with ylur assesments Kiwi i just cant get excjted over Tim , annd i wont be UNTIL he fightsc someone his own size who is nt there becuse the e a human punchbag ,,!, We could be accused of going a bit hard , some would say , he,s being brought along slowly , building his skills ect ect ect , ale Benn and a few others a d this i would agree is the right way to go about grooming and preparing for a world title shot,, However all that talk goes right out the window when they start asking for 50 plus dollars to watch him hit a human punchbag with a shite support card , W ha ts more dont expect any different for a while yet ,, they have only just started milking the cow its a long way to go before they risk losing it

tim gave takeshi a beating, but he was tough boy inoue, tim loves loves them uppercuts nearly took inoue head off with one ,like to see tim work his jab more because even when he threw a quick 1 2 he got through looks bit stiff from the waist up only being critical cause he is going places and good to see the floors and good fighters improve , though he didnt take that many shots of inoue i think he was so heavey handed inoue didnt dare throw that many, i think i gave him every rd , like to see mungia next for tim, i think castano and charlo both beat him, a good tough boxer how can box will beat him, i think mungia though didnt realise tim is only 5 8 would of been a good scrap tho i would go mungia ,

Tim was much more uppercut happy than in the past. It was landing at will but the effort he was putting in trying to KO Inoue was starting to show late with his fatigue. Like a few of Tim's fights Inoue landed some right hands but it appears Tim is prepared to take those punches to test the effect. They had little effect. Tim is extremely accurate and smart. I think he beats Charlo, but he will need to box smart against Castano which no doubt he will do.
Good display and all credit to Inoue - he wouldve been one sore lad the following morning !!

Tim Tszyu had a convincing win over a tough opponent. He should be up for a World title fight in his next fight.
