It can become a battle of the jabs. If Fury feels, that he's losing it, he'll roughhouse Usyk. Those are the most possible scenarios, I'd say.

It's hard to imagine Usyk outboxing Fury; but it was harder to imagine Usyk being the one who looked more likely to score the stoppage when he fought Joshua too.

Scary part is that Fury came in to fight fat and out of shape and still handle that like a boss

That being said these rematch clauses need to end in boxing because it's a detriment to the sport. Not every fight is rematch worthy. It's that sort of thing that prevents undisputed title matches from happening, and competitive mandatory challenges from happening.

Rematch clauses generally suck, but last time it ironically worked well. Anyway, the bout like Whyte-Wallin doesn't deserve a rematch by any means. Wallin is a good boxer. He schooled Breazeale too. Whyte is obviously better than Breazeale, but he's chinny, so every opponent, who can deliver it, is a threat to Dillian, even if he isn't a banger like Wallin.

We just had a 'Best Heavyweight Fight of a Generation' that beforehand most were saying should not be happening.

Rematch clauses are unfortunately here to stay

Btw, I think Fury carried too much weight now against Wilder. The lighter version would be even better. But definitely he won't be that big against the likes of Usyk, who can move and dodge punches.

The reasons that it shouldn't have happened are as true now as they were before it. Doesn't seem fair to judge that kind of thing retroactively.
Like for instance when Anthony Joshua loses to someone, you know right away that he's unavailable for another year or so to fight anybody but that same fighter who he just fought. Kind of a drag if you ask me.

ya the whole forced immediate rematch thing has gotten a bit stinky, it prevents/delays the winners from fighting each other and forces rehashed fights

like maybe if usyk and fury couldnt have worked out a deal, then have usyk-josh 2 , but it just sucks that its forced and that there is this big roadblock to the biggest fights happening

wilder-fury fought 3 times yet not once fought aj or usyk. usyk and aj gonna have fought twice without either having faced wilder of fury. dudes need to stop marrying each other and instead try some different flavours
