Regardless of anything the Dave Allen fight should be forgotten about until the White rhino has fought some reputable names. It’s impossible to know if he will train properly even when he’s on a run of fights let alone when he’s been out for years with only a few 6 rounders under his belt.

Given the toughness of Allen's noggin I fear he would take an unhealthy shellacking. Nobody wants to see that.

Put Babic in with a live body who is trying to win.

What about the Romanian dude who Dubois iced last time out?

Maybe even Ricky no Lartey no party?

Both guys you mentioned fit the Molina mould of probably half decent rankings (no I haven’t looked) but fall over in a mild breeze.

margaret thatcher wrote: 31 Oct 2021, 05:59 now looking at it from the continue the ko run perspective:

simon kean - big giant guy with nearly 100 percent kos himself, london olympian. but made of total glass
umut camkiran - 17-0 (16) turk, tough looking, but in reality basically a bouncer
browne of course - still seems to have a name and we know he's pretty much done, but did ko chag
stiverne - former champ, but been past it for years and took a bad bad beating last time
wallish - basically the german molina, though without reaching the level molina did years ago
iago kiladze - a well used punch bag
alexander flores - 6'5 american, 18-3, but a glassman vs anyone decent. fought ortiz and parker
pawel kolodz - big pole, handsome, 35-1 but he only fought 1 notable opponent (denis lebedev at cruiser) and was ko'd
onoriode ehwarieme - 6'7 nigerian, 18-2 (17). looks the part but falls apart
ustinov - giant with still decent looking 36-5 record , but way past it and never that good to start

if they want a brit, then kash ali
all of these matchups seem a step back, at least rating-wise, from molina. dont you think he gonna go for a strong top 50 like dazn is suggesting (hrgovic, zhang, efe or bakole). i get that u all think he gonna be matched up to punching bags to maintain 100% ko but he rejected lovejoy who wanted to step in after browne pulled out, and said he wants well rated opponents. dillian, eddie speculating on dave allen fight, what do u think bout that?
no, i dont think he's gonna go for guys like hrg, efe, bakole next at all. more likely he's kept busy against guys we know he'll prob ko, no one too threatning

beating molina carries no props these days anyways, those knockover guys arent really a step back tbh. did molina even have any sort of notable ranking going into the fight btw? like with wbc, wba, etc.

being realistic but somewhat ambitious, id like for him to fight guys like mulowayi, demirezin, or kuzmin. all would give him more of a fight than gone with the wind molina, but not as dangerous as the first batch

Mariusz Wach would be half decent, If he can bowl him out of the way then that would be pretty impressive.

I think the babic matchmakers get really into boxrec looking for guys ranked higher than they should be. Molina was 60th… winters was 30thish at the time, that Irish guy was way too high.

they arnt going to risk it with anyone actualy good but at least want them to be credible at a glance.

They know that fans see though the 300th ranked 22-0 guy now, and are going for a different approach.

For this reason I fear brown is on there hit list, for next year. although I think he will get kod in aus in December. (Might even pull out and go to babic if there is more money, quarenteen is all at home now if he is vaxed)

Not really. He is about survival/spoiling recently. I won't expect anything interesting from Babic-Hammer. Hammer is tough and can survive, but I see it as two puddings hustling inside monotonously.
