Main event is decent, can't figure why folks aren't more into it. I also fancy Ryder taking it, but it won't be easy by any means. Which should make for a good fight.

I quite like the Cash comeback fight too.

Outside of that the undercard is crap but I guess Jacobs would have been needing a wedge to come over.

Yeah, OK, it will be interesting to see Cash. So Fisher, Cash, and Ryder/Jacobs.
I've seen a lot worse, or fast forwarded through a lot worse.

It’s an interesting fight. Intuitively I would go for Jacobs but Ryder is strong and determined

Yep. The rest of the undercard is really poor which is unlike Matchroom in fairness. Usually have a couple of other competitive fights at a low level whilst the the rest of the undercard here are one-sided fights with opponents who have very limited ambition.

the two main fights are solid, good enough for me tbf

Its almost impossible to be a standout amateur in Russia unless you are the very top level.

Just had a look through his record earlier, nothing stands out but Russian domestic scene not my strong point, hopefully he'll cause Cash some problems without making it boring

silver at world juniors aint bad

those russian domestic fights tend to be hard fought, he'll probably be ready for a tough fight, cash should outgun him but it's a decent contest

It's when he moved out of juniors it went a bit more loss than win.

true but russia is loaded with am talent, you can still be really good without being the top in their amateur ranks. remember the boxrec amateur records are incomplete too

he's obviously far from the toughest and will prob get outgunned, but he's a youngish guy who hasnt lost and i expect him to come and fight hard , much rather have that than one of these big names who is well past it and just in survival mode for cheques

I'll be watching. Been looking forward to this card. It has been low key, not talked much about, but I think it is a decent watch.

He won’t be on the main card but keep an eye out for Shiloh Defreitas who’s on the undercard.

I watched him, albeit against poor opposition, in his last fight on an MTK show near the end of last year and I thought he looked like a top prospect. Picked his punches nicely and seemed to carry some power.

Randomly his dad, who’s also his trainer, is on Gogglebox.

Jacobs looked way taller. These days all fighters look in super shape. The physiques are so different from the 'old' days.....

Yeah. My post was more about how much more clued up fighters are on nutrition and rehydration..... its almost like the weigh ins only mean something at heavyweight- EG Povetkin looking awful for Whyte 2.

You have to admit though James, when you see a guy making weight and his cheeks and sometimes his eyes are a bit sunken in, it raises concerns about his stamina and punch resistance for the fight. Especially if they are over 30 in my view. Sometimes if I'm going to have a flutter, I'll take that into consideration after the weigh in.
We saw last week Williams struggling to get to weight and his punch resistance cost him the fight. If the two are related is up for conjecture, I suspect they are. Unfortunately I had already put a tenner on Williams before I knew how far off weight he was coming into fight week.
