Nova is winning, but black shorts stunned him early and is still throwing the odd bit of heat. Live dog I’m the fight still for me, commentators are acting like it’s a massacre and nova just gotta Finnish the show.

Decent round for Encar although you'd give it to Nova based on activity. I'd advise the smaller man to actually stay away from the inside.

Rd 7 = nova busy encar counter combos. Encar is one game dude. Encar hurt but fires back. Encar hurt again. Survives 7 but the end is imminent.

Nova looked very good. I think Encar’s corner could have let it go a little farther but really, there was no path to victory.

I don't have a big issue with the stoppage. He took a fair amount of punishment throughout, esp in rd 7.

Weird stoppage. Corner sends their man out and then quickly stops the fight after a few more shots landed.
Nova, drawing superhuman strength from his beard, wins in fairly dominant fashion. He and his life size mascot had a good night.

The stoppage was anti-climactic and totally rubbish for fans, but no doubt it was the right call from his corner.
They saved their man from a highlight KTFO.

would be a bad stop in a title fight, but a fine stop for a nothing fight short notice when your guys not undefeated.

Rd 1 = Smith bombing immediately. Geffrard really decent d and lhook counter. Geffrard looks like he has a plan. Good jabs Geffrard. Bit of a rope a dope attempt here by Geffrard.

joe more aggressive, geff with high guard. mostly blockng joes shots and coming back occassionaly with own. best shots of round are landed by smith in last 10 seconds

gefrard is interesting. never seen someone have there hands so open in there high guard. it like. interesting gloves allowing him to maintain that, seems his hands arnt in a fist at all till the throws. Quick left hook. but smith clubbing hard.
